I can only echo the other comments on the pharmacy's customer service. They put me on hold twice for twenty minutes until I gave up. I went in to the store, and they told me they would fill my prescription and to have a seat. Twenty five minutes later I asked them what the story was, someone checked and then told me they didn't have it in stock. No apology, no care. Unbelievable.

Pharmacy staff is rude and vindictive. I called to confirm a prescription was ready for pick, was told very rudely it was, but when I went to pick it up, they told me there were no prescriptions under my name.

400 Washington CVS had been closed (renovating / downsizing the space?) but has re-opened as of October 1. Clean space, smart and helpful staff, fairly quick to fill prescriptions, so far. Way better than 294 Harvard Street in every respect.

This is a review for the CVS pharmacy and I wish there is an option for giving zero star. I have been trying to call them three times this morning for a refill and every time I waited 15 mins just for their staff to pickup and drop the phone in half a second. They DIDN'T even care to speak to me and ask me to wait. What is the point of having a phone line if you don't want people to call in??? I understand that the staff are busy but this is just not acceptable and it reflects how poor the management is.

Is everyone aware that 400 Washington Street in Brookline is shut down permanently and it's been shut down for a while.. People need to wake up and realize that 294 Harvard Street is the one up and running their business in the??? You people flatter me... ???✊

I've been having a hard time since they closed the Beacon Street CVS. All my prescriptions have gone over to the CVS in Harvard Street and it's a total Zoo. I've been waiting on a prescription for almost a week because they didn't bother to get it when they were out of stock and didn't let me know that. So I called over to this Washington Street Pharmacy and they answered right away and filled it within half an hour or less. So I guess it just depends on the timing and what you're comparing it to but it was I got sent for me at this point!

They helped get a prescription filled in 5 minutes what another store couldn’t do in over an hour. The pharmacist went above and beyond to help me. Kudos on real efficiency and customer service

Surprised by the overwhelmingly bad reviews. Seems like most of the bad reviews have to do with the pharmacy.I just went last night to grab some St Patrick’s Day cards and it was a fine experience. I wasn’t acknowledged by staff the two times I walked by or they walked by me. It’s a small store so not a whole lot and quite cramped.I actually thought it was closed because the storefront on the side I normally pass through has a separate empty retail area and the CVS sign is above it. Glad it wasn’t closed, but I’m definitely not changing stores.

The pharmacy is the worst for customer service!!! If you have a problem with your meds and need to talk with the pharmacy don't waste your time calling...they NEVER NEVER NERVER NEVER answer the phone!! Example-- I have been calling since 9am and on hold all morning. I called 6 times. I waited till after 2pm for their lunch break and called 5 more times...no answer! This even involved the store manager quarantined promise of someone picking up the line....on hold again from 2:10pm to 3:58pm! If you live in Brookline...go to Walgreens on Harvard Ave.

This location is small and understaffed, there were two people working in the pharmacy. The CVS manager of this location needs to hire more people. Waiting 40 minutes for medication in a 10 person line is ridiculous.

The staff were horrible. My friends and I were trying to figure out what to buy and how to exchange our money evenly in the drinks aisle. A staff immediately came saying we can't just stay there socialising. We said ok, shocked by the level of disrespect. We then went to the food aisle because we wanted some oreos and the same lady comes and says "I will call the security on you". This was very shocking to us all because we just wanted to get food, and were treated with a large level of discourtesy. Service was horrible, and completely ruined our days. We had come by after a long day of midterms, and were immediately disrespected.
