@ChaseSupport I am writing to formally submit a complaint on behalf of my mother, a private client at your institution. I would like to bring to your attention a series of unpleasant events during her visit to the Chase branch in Brookline, MA, on September 26th.Upon her arrival, my mother was unaware that an appointment was required for service, as this had not been communicated to her beforehand. She approached a relationship banker to inquire about initiating a wire transfer. It seemed that the banker was occupied at the time and asked her to wait. Meanwhile, she observed three other staff members are just talking. When my mother inquired about using the restroom facilities, her request was declined without any explanation or provision of alternative options. This response was surprising and disappointing, as it was inconsistent with the level of courtesy and professionalism we have come to expect from Chase based on our previous experiences.I would like to express my concern that the treatment of my mother may have been influenced by discriminatory biases, as she is an Asian woman and English is not her first language. I implore the management at the Brookline branch to reflect on this incident and ensure that all clients, regardless of their background or language proficiency, are treated with respect and dignity.Thank you for taking the time to address this matter. We hope that steps will be taken to prevent such an incident from occurring in the future and to uphold the high standards of customer service that Chase is known for.

JP Morgan Chase is THE WORST bank if you care about a livable climate - they invested billions in new fossil fuel exploration since the signing of the Paris Agreement in 2015!

One of the best Chase branches in Boston. Always busy so keep that in mind and book an appointment prior to walking in.

ATMs are always broken and the banking staff treats you like a remedial student assuming it was your mistake. Really not impressed.Luckily the financial advisors and other who work out of that office are all great people balancing things out a little.

Stopped in Chase today to open a checking account. Was greeted immediately and shown to see Ronnie (Rolando) who was very lovely and worked within my time constraint. He understood my needs, was not pushy at all, informed me of everything I needed to know and quickly took care of me. He was extremely respectful of my privacy and helped upgrade me to a premier account. I've heard of the quality of Chase customer service and Ronnie exemplifies that! Might switch to Chase full-time!

I got a promotional offer to to receive $600 for opening new accounts with Chase Bank when they start opening branches in Boston. It seemed like a good deal so I went into sign up with the one in Coolidge Corner. The rep I met with seemed really confused the whole time about which type of account would fit and which ones will qualify for the promotion. I was upsold into one that would be fee free if I deposited more than $20,000. It took almost 3 hours to open 2 accounts. When I got my debit cards a week and a half later they had the wrong name on them. I went back to the Chase branch and had them update the cards so my name appeared correctly and resend them. This took another 2 hours sitting with a rep and filling out more forms. He said they'd be overnighted so I'd get them right away. Two weeks later I got the debit cards, again with the wrong name on them. It took six visits that lasted more than 12 hours in total over more than two months before I was actually able to get my debit cards and was able to start using the money I deposited in these accounts. 6 months after I opened the accounts I called to inquire about why I hadn't received the promotional incentive that I originally signed up with the bank for. An account manager said they would look into it and get back to me. I never received a phone call or follow up. A few weeks later I went into the branch and spoke with the Vice President of the branch and he said the same thing, he'd look into it and see what he could do. Never heard back. A month later I went in to close the accounts. I relayed my experience so far to the associate banker that I met with right before closing time and she says "Wow, that's too bad." No further explanation or argument. About an hour later I realize she never returned my driver's license when she originally asked for my ID and debit cards, and returned to the branch but they had already closed. I went back in the morning to get my driver's license back after missing a flight because didn't have ID. I've never seen so much consistent incompetence. It took more than 20 hours dealing with reps and more than two months to actually be able to access the $20,000+ of money that I was talked into depositing, never received the promotional incentive that was offered and derailed a business trip by not returning my ID. Overall unbelievable experience. I'd stick with TD.
