The manager there is a racist. I did money transfer many times in different banks and never get denied. But in this bank, especially this one, the manager just hold my transfer with no reason. Just makes me step in the payment deadline trouble.

Honestly before walking into this Boa branch I was a bit hesitant. The 2.8 rating had me skeptical, but my experience turned out to be completely different than what I expected.From the moment I entered, the receptionist greeted me with a smile and was incredibly professional. Despite not having an appointment, I was able to get walk-in service in less than 15 minutes, which was a pleasant surprise.My session was with Sabrina Almeida, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She was friendly, professional, and extremely efficient. Not only did she get my account set up swiftly, but she also took the extra step to recommend some great restaurants and local spots nearby. As someone new to the city, this small gesture made a big difference to me.So all in all my visit to this branch was absolutely great, and it far exceeded my initial expectations. Kudos to the team for making me feel welcomed and for providing excellent service. Will definitely be banking here again!

Went to go get something sorted out with a check. I was told to wait a week to get mail, which is why I went in. Then right after called the number on the back of my card and actually had someone help me. It was very clear they were having a bad day and had no intentions of actually helping me. I will be sticking to online service if this is how I get treated in person.

Expect to wait 20+ minutes for a line of 4 people because they’ll only out one teller while everyone else stays in mostly empty offices.

You should have a notary available for your own accountholders and not be told to look elsewhere. Why am I with a major bank if I can't get any services? I think I decided to change banks today.

This is the worst bank. Anything I ever needed (reference letter, etc.), they need an appointment to request it and when I try to, there are NO appointments available. There’s always a long line. I switched to Chase and so much better!

I've never waited less than 30 minutes in line at this bank. Currently in line with only 2 people in front of me. Nobody has moved in 20 minutes. It's 3:45 on a Wednesday afternoon; not exactly rush hour. All I need is change for a 10 and this is the only place in town with quarters. Avoid this bank if you're in a rush, it will make you late for whatever you're trying to do, regardless of when you go. They're also allergic to answering the phone as well so they only to find out if they even have any of said change is drive over and ask.

For a bank they do an awful job of having cash on hand. I have the displeasure of using coin-op laundry and frequently come here for quarters, but I don't know why I bother. They never have any, but at least there's always a line!

Come here if you want to wait in line for an hour for their lone teller. They should realize not everything can be done on an ATM or on their app. Severely understaffed. The nearby citizens bank branch always has multiple tellers. Considering switching to them.

Dealing with this branch was very unpleasant. Very unhelpful and rude CSAs. Went to another BOA afterwards and they were very helpful and accommodating.

At this particular branch, They have tons of staff for their customer base. All are friendly and extremely well dressed but it seems this is to compensate for their total inability to do things efficiently. The Newton Centre location is far more efficient. Simple transactions like picking up foreign currency, getting quarters, visiting the safe deposit box, etc. seems to be a major production for the staff here.

Met friendly staff Mena yesterday. Booked an appointment on Monday evening for Thursday afternoon. Did not wait long before she met me and spent a full hour going through my options for account opening, instructions to make deposits and how to improve credit for housing loan. Provided her contact for questions in the future. Really pleasant experience for a new resident like me.
