Family Dollar has an advantage over Dollar Tree, that is you can get some higher end merchandise for cheap as compared to a department store or specialty store.I stopped here to get some 3M Command hooks that were almost double the price at Target. They had a fairly good selection and I was able to pick one that suited my needs.The store was a bit crowded but fairly organized.

Though this is a brand new location I was surprised to find that some of the items were out of stock and mispriced. So the customer service was phenomenal and when I asked for an item they were willing to go into the back stock and get it for me which I gave five stars for customer service. But to circle back a lot of the products were Miss marked and out of stock.

Brockton family dollar on crescent Street hasn't had food stock for at least 3 weeks. Staff is told to tell customers they never know what is coming in on the trucks. Something fishy going on that they aren't telling us. The other stores don't have this problem. Are they closing? Behind in their bills?

They don’t give receipts!! I sent my 12 yo son to buy a pack of socks. We got three hours away to realize they left anti theft devices on them. I went back to have them removed and the manager kept the socks and wouldn’t take the anti theft devices off. Meanwhile I spent 10$ on them and they won’t return them. He was rude and on his phone the whole time I was trying to speak to him.ill never return or send my kids there.

Called to speak with the manager and when the person on the phone said they were the manager I asked them their policy with shop lifting because they are not allowed to chase the person outside the store he couldn't answer me hung up and now they won't pick up..

Sign posted no returns due COVID-19, as of 3/27/2020. Thank you. Asked 'manager' when is it going to be over, shook his head and walked away. So what am i supposed to do with their junk they won't take back? Hold it for ever, and then they'll say say sorry you've had it too long?
