“We had the opportunity to celebrate a special occasion with the Fireside Feast event at Salem Cross Inn. At this event they roast - on 18th century spits - some delicious prime rib while serving mulled wine and cider heated with period fire irons. While the prime rib is finishing up, guests can take a horse-drawn carriage ride around the property, returning to the tap room to help mix the seafood chowder they make in a cauldron above the same fire! Once that is complete we all ascend to the dining room to enjoy the delicious soup and entree capped off by an apple crisp buried under a huge dollop of house made whipped cream.This is an EXPERIENCE!! The location itself is beautiful. The staff was friendly and the cooking team was enthusiastic. The toasty fire, smell of hardwood smoke, warm cider and wine, and cozy post and beam rustic setting are just perfect ,It's a community style event, too, where mingling and talking to new people during both the gathering hour and dinner is encouraged by the free-form tap room seating and long bench tables of the dining room. We had wonderful conversations with different couples throughout the event. As people who connect over a shared enjoyment of food, cooking, community, and rustic simplicity, this was truly a wonderful (and highly recommended) evening.”

“I had the most amazing winter wedding here! I really can’t put into words how wonderful my whole experience was from start to finish . Moira and Alyssa are amazing ! Moira worked with me for months answering every question I could have possibly had . She was patient and kind the entire time. Alyssa made sure I had everything I could have possibly wanted or needed the day of my wedding . The food was delicious and my guests are still talking about it.i highly recommend using there preferred vendor list my florist country girl collections was extremely talented and made sure the night was magical. and the DJ champagne toast made sure everyone was dancing the whole night ! Seriously best night of my life!”

“Went in tonight and had clam strips and surf n turf. Prime rib was melt in your mouth, cooked perfect! We ordered the Brussels sprouts, by recommendation from our server, and was not disappointed! Everything was wonderful- our waitress Kitty was friendly and attentive we will definitely be back with a larger group! Keep being awesome Teresa’s!”

“This place is so underutilized! It's gorgeous, but needs some maintenence. The indoor courtyard with a pool is such an interesting feature! But if people aren't using it, they don't have the money for upkeep...Conference rooms are of varying sizes, accommodating groups from the 15 or so we had to spaces large enough to hold a much larger group! I'd love to see it used for a prom or other dance!”
