“I have had very flat feet since birth and have always had pain and difficulty walking. To top it off I am diabetic and have resulting neuropathy in my toes. I have used Boston Pedorthic as my main source of shoes and foot support for at least 4 of the last 5 years. They have provided me with an excellent shoe and custom molded inserts of the highest quality. Their products make my feet happier! The staff is very professional and has treated me with great respect. It is a joy to work with them! They have my highest recommendation.”
“Last month I had the pleasure of shopping at the Dedham DXL location. My wife and I were assisted by Robert -- one of the most professional, knowledgeable, and kind sales associates we have come across. Robert was patient and went out of his way to assist, even though we arrived at the store 45 minutes to an hour before close. The end result was a refreshed wardrobe and a great selection of clothes for an overseas trip. I would be remiss if I did not also mention that Robert proactively identified and resolved an issue where I was not receiving my DXL rewards. “I've been to Orchard a few times now, and I've loved it every time. My boyfriend is more into skateboarding than me, but they've always treated me with kindness regardless. The shop is clean, has a great selection, and everyone who works there knows their stuff. I actually just ordered a pair of Converse CONS Fastbreak Pros and they shipped almost immediately and got to me in record time! They arrived in pretty much perfect condition, not even a dent in the box. Definitely will buy from here again next time I need a pair of kicks!”
“Unfortunately, the receipt of my order was problematic due to UPS related handling / delivery issues. However, December Thieves management promptly addressed and resolved UPS failure to process and deliver my package. Fortunately, I received my significantly delayed order immediately following December Thieves proactive actions. I highly commend management for their professional, personable, and quality customer service (which of course, is vital to maintaining established customers, cultivating new ones, and increasing business productivity and revenue).”
“My wife and I have both purchased nice, quality shoes here, but their real bread and butter is the kids selection. Rather than purchasing cheaper shoes at Walmart, Target or similar that break, get ruined or kid grows out of in a few weeks, we decided to start going to Michelson's when our son started running around outside at daycare all the time and 100% do NOT regret it. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about inventory and the one time our son's shoes have torn in the four years we've been going, they let him exchange for a new pair. Every other pair have last for multiple seasons, and he's outside a LOT. he's also excited to go (and I've noticed other kids are as well) to see their "pet alligator" - who lives in a wall cavity behind the cash register. They knocked it out of the park with that thing.”
“Friendly workers. Running shoes, clothing, and gear are all high quality.I give 4 instead of 5 stars for two reasons. Mainly, there is no info on the shoes on the wall display. The Boston and Brookline locations list things like the model, stack height, and drop right next to the shoe. Cambridge really needs to do this.Secondly, the 3 shoes initially brought out didn’t match my foot scan at all. It was odd. But I did find a pair of Nikes I liked and was able to order them from Nike directly in the width I need. Note that width options are limited in most running stores. So I don’t fault Marathon sports for not carrying the wide.”

“I had a great experience getting running shoes here! Sophia helped me choose a pair of shoes after I did the technological evaluation scan thing, where you step on the platform and it evaluates your shoe size, pronation level, and where you put pressure on your feet. She was wonderful at listening to what I was looking for, offering options, and explaining the benefits of different brands and styles. I ended up with a pair of Asics and also running socks. If I end up needing a shoe insole, I'll come back here. I would highly recommend this Marathon Sports ?”

“Steve killed it today. I showed up at 11am on a Tuesday and the store was busy for a midweek day. “I called the Dedham store because I work in Norwood. I inquired about a specific style in my size. The girl who answered the phone informed me that they were out of stock then proceeded to check inventory of other locations. Unfortunately no luck.
I told her I had a purchase voucher from work that was date sensitive. She said I could come in and still purchase and use the voucher.
When I arrived at the store, a very nice young man named Eric greeted me and welcomed me in. I explained I had already spoken to someone on the phone.
Then a young lady came out from the back and greeted me. Her name is Lauralye Akerman (who happens to be the store manager).
As soon as I said hello she knew why I was there and proceeded to order the specific shoes I requested. Voucher redeemed before the expiration date.
Both Lauralye and Eric are very personable and professional.
I would recommend the Dedham store to anyone who appreciates GREAT customer service.”
“I had heard great things about madewell jeans generally, and I simply had to leave a positive review for this store since the service was so amazing. I went in to try on and purchase some jeans, and the sales folks were instantly helpful with recommending sizes and styles that would work. “There were tons of selections to choose from. The store was very organized. It was my second visit today after a long day at work.. I felt overwhelmed and tired at the beginning but everything was great at the store. The cashier was very helpful and quick.
