0 Stars. Neglected to even notice they wounded our dog with a choke collar. Vet was disgusted by their actions. Owner Ian took no responsibility and offered zero compensation. We are horrified this may happen again so had to warn others. Posting the pictures but i warn you, they are graphic.

so much for "big dog" walking. they rejected my request based on the breed of my dog. he's a well trained 70lb pitty, boxer, staffy mix who has never had an issue with any of the Rover sitters we've used.... or anyone for that matter. they should rename themselves "designer dog only" walking

They have taken such gentle and patient care of our nervous pup since we first adopted him at four months old. Not only that but they supported us through the birth of our first child and I will never forget their kindness!!

Ian and staff are very thoughtful and have the best interest of the dogs in their care at heart. Great communication through the app and over email. The staff always sent one update through the app each time my dog stayed with them. This is a great daycare for dogs who love to play with other dogs. It's a pretty stimulating environment for dogs, and Ian acknowledged that. My dog did daycare there and boarded with them for a few nights. I would describe my lil dude as pretty human oriented, has separation anxiety, and fancies himself to be an escape artist. The staff always made sure to give him some special attention and managed him in a way that prevented him from jumping barriers during pick up. Honestly, he can sometimes be a PITA and wants all the human attention. I think that can be pretty disruptive at a dog day care (sorry Ian and staff!) Regardless, I was most impressed with Diamond (I think that's her name) is super professional and compassionate. She warmly greeted my dog (and I!) every time we came in when she was working and seemed to figure out the quirks of my pup. TL;DR- BDW is a thoughtful, safe dog daycare. Keep in mind not all dogs might love a dog day care environment. However, give Big Dog Walkin' a try, especially if your dog loves playing with other pups. I would try their dog walking services in the future!

We love Big Dog Walkin. We have been bringing our pup here for years and they are always friendly and accommodating. It’s clear to me that they care for their clients as ours is always excited to go to spend the day there and even makes sure to turn back to say goodbye when we pick her up. They always send updates. Highly recommend!

Big Dog Walkin' visits my 2 cats when needed. They are wonderful! After every visit, they provide a detailed overview of the visit along with a few photos. I never have to worry if my cats are in good hands when I leave town. It is obvious their staff is passionate about what they do!

If I could rate this no stars, I would. I feel bad for the employees who will be impacted by negative reviews. They were all great. Terrible experience with the owner, our dog was nipped at three times upon pickup/drop off. The manager saw this happen, multiple dogs got out from behind the gate separating them where the desk is. The last time this happened was when our dog was nipped on his hind leg and it resulted in a 3" laceration, he was sent home without it being noticed. He required a trip to the ER and stitches. It was (after all) captured on video and shared with us. He did nothing wrong, was jumping and bit from behind. Given all of this, we asked to be refunded for the days we had prepaid for, the three days he was nipped at and the cost of the ER. We were told we would not be reimbursed for the days he had been nipped at and not the day of the laceration because it happened too late in the day to refund.... The mere dismissal of what happened and the passive aggressive responses received from management was just beyond belief.

We had dog care plans fall through and found BDW, who with short notice was able to help us out. Our dog has bad separation anxiety but the staff were true dog people and took great care of her. The picture updates of her reassured us that everything was cool, but based on the staff demeanor alone we already were confident our buddy was in good hands. Can’t thank you all enough.

Our girl loves going to Big Dog to play with her friends and the great people who look after her. We love how attentive the staff is. It makes my day when the staff sends messages and pics on how our pup's day is going, even if we don't message them first!

Since becoming a client of BDW a year ago, my dog Phife and I have benefited in some of the best ways. I always know he’s safe and having a good time at school because of the great communication and pictures from staff throughout the day. It was obvious to me how much the staff loved and paid close attention to him even as brand new clients.After several months of being happy with the services provided at BDW, I decided that I wanted to experience some of the joy my pup was experiencing everyday by coming on board as a staff member. I love the fact that I get to love on adorable dogs all day. I still leave Phife at daycare and overnight boarding even when I’m not scheduled to work. I can always rest knowing that my little guy is being taken care of by caring people who genuinely love him and all the other dogs.

My dog’s face tells you everything you need to know. He loves it, we love it, great communication and photo updates, convenient hours, and reasonable prices (esp. If you buy bulk packages, the credits never expire)BTW if you’re on the fence because of one-star reviews - I took the time to read them all, some are from accounts that only have one star (always suspicious) and some others are coordinated takedowns (from people who have never visited the facility). There are a couple that are worth reading and seem to have merit, but I’m glad I wasn’t scared off by low google ratings.Will update if anything changes but otherwise we are very happy customers!

We have been taking our Pom there ever since we got him and it’s been 5 years now. The only crate free Dog Day Care in closest locations to us I know. They take you dog out every two hours, you can also request a Dog Park Trip for additional cost. However as many places they have a cancellation and late fee policy, which is normal, since there’s no available park trip spots left sometimes. Cinnamon loves coming there! And we are happy he is enjoying it.

We have had an amazing run with Big Dog Walk-in’ for 8+ years and counting! Our dog, Finley, absolutely loves going to the shop (at least that what he seems to be telling us), and the team there is so wonderful. The overnights at the shop are an amazing service to cover when we are traveling. Finley seems to be telling us he loves those, too!

I took my dog here for 5 months and would never recommend it to anyone. Extremely overpriced for what the size & quality of the facility is. They false advertise. When I went for the first time I was told there’s a small dog room and a large dog room. Nope. They don’t even divide the dogs into any groups in any way. Which isn’t too big of a deal if it wasn’t for the fact that the back room is not big at all. And on top of that there are way too many dogs there for how small the room is. They pack so many dogs into a room that’s not an acceptable size with no outdoor area. They also allow (or rather encourage) dogs to go to the bathroom INSIDE and act like it’s ok. Very bad environment if you are training a dog it will reinforce negative/bad behavior that you’re trying to stop. The price for a full day here is higher than GOOD doggy daycares that have massive rooms with outdoor areas. The owner is not nice and doesn’t care about his employees. I have watched more than 6 employees quit within my time going there.

We've been so happy with the love and care our pup has received here! The staff all know her immediately when we come in & always talk about how sweet she is. We've seen photos of her playing and of her napping during the fun filled day here! She's about 1 year and 3 months old now & she's been going here since she was about 6 months, 2x per week. It's perfect!
