Babushka Deli is a small convenience and specialty store that offers a mix of Russian, European, and American goods. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making it a pleasant place to visit. The store features a decent selection of authentic Russian products, including Georgian wine, Russian standard drinks, Tula gingerbread, halva, black bread, and other traditional treats. Customers appreciate the variety of Slavic and European goods, some of which are hard to find elsewhere, such as Tarkhun, Monastery Kvass, and fruit compote. The store also carries a small selection of beer, liquor, and snacks, often at better prices than nearby grocery stores. While the deli section offers an assortment of snacks and candies, some reviews mention that a few items, especially chocolates with wafers, may be stale, though this is not a major issue for most. The store's candy prices are around $4 a pound, but the best-by dates are only visible on the main package, making it hard to tell if individual candies are out of date. Despite this, most customers find the overall experience positive and enjoy the store’s convenience and unique offerings. Babushka Deli is especially popular on Mondays and Tuesdays when Russian items are 10% off. It serves well as a quick stop for snacks, treats, and specialty goods rather than a full supermarket.

No prices listed and everything is marked up a lot. It's open late so if you need something it's good in a pinch, but with this price point you might as well just go the extra block to Whole Foods for better quality that is also cheaper.
