“Owen is the most genuine mechanic I’ve ever met! I had a really poor experience at Akiki Auto Body in Hyde Park. They tried to swindle me out of $1800 to replace standard mirrors on my 2016 Hyundai Tucson. I ended up buying the mirrors myself for $200 total and came across Factory Auto Service and saw the 5 stars, and immediately called Owen to schedule a time to get this fixed! He was happy to install the mirrors I bought and did it in under an HOUR. It costed me under $300. Owen is honest, kind and not trying to screw anyone over. As a woman, it’s far too common for male mechanics to try to trick us into paying more thinking we don’t know about cars. I’m no car expert, but I did my research on how much a standard mirror replacement should be, and Akiki’s trying to charge $1800 was fishy to me. Owen validated my concerns and we had a nice conversation during my service as well. Support honest mechanics like Owen!”
“The guys at Samuels Jaguar are great! They are Knowledgeable and helpful. I drove in all the way from gloucester and Elston was so kind as to give me a ride to the Green line. My XK8 was running poor and a high end local shop incorrectly diagnosed it after charging me $150, saying it was the catalytic converter. They wanted to charge me $1,000s more for further diag and replacement. Samuel’s found the real problem quick and for much less $$. They've also helped me with a complicated insurance issue and gave me advice on how to best handle it. I ended up getting some money back from insurance because of it! Can't recommend them enough.”
