The dresses are beautiful, so many options and size inclusive for all. The owner, Julie, is so helpful and nice. I rented a plus size gown for a formal event last weekend and felt beautiful and got so many compliments! Not to mention I rented shoes too!! All and all, this shop is amazing!

This may be a bit long but please take a moment to read this review of Miss Louise Prom Closet and Special Occasions Rental in Bridgewater. I think it's important that people know the value that supporting a small business brings. My son will be married in June 2023 and both my daughters are bridesmaids in the wedding. His bride-to-be chose a national company and a well-known high-end designer for the wedding parties dresses. We went to Boylston st where my younger daughter was measured and we paid for a moderately expensive dress. It arrived 2 1/2 months later and was significantly too small, it was dirty and there was a snagged stitch on the back. There was not enough extra fabric for the seamstress to make it work. (she was measured a second time and her size had not changed) My nightwear began. The details are for a different review but let's just say the horrible, insulting, unprofessional treatment from the designer about a dress that they screwed up on had me sobbing in tears and losing sleep. I was running out of time and their reluctance had me in fear that we would be without a dress. I became desperate. I began searching for a new dress elsewhere. I randomly called Louise's and spoke with the owner, Julie, I told her that I didn't expect her to be able to help but that I was taking a shot. I told her what size, style, color, material, and hopefully designer I was looking for. She instantly replied, "Yes, I have those" .. uhhmm what??? She repeated, Yes, I have those. She told me her hours and to come by anytime. She assured me that she could help.The next day we arrived and were greeted warmly in a beautiful little shop filled with tons of dresses. Without knowing we were coming, Julie already had dresses put aside for us. She found several more options. While my daughter was getting changed I asked Julie how long she had owned the shop and who was Louise, she told me she opened it two years ago and named it after her grandmother who loved to get dressed to the nines. She helped my daughter with zippers, shoes, and pictures. She gave us incredible fitting tips that the high-end boutiques and designers never suggested. My daughter fell in love with the very first dress she tried on. It was identical to one of the ones she had tried and considered at the shop in Boston. It checked every box on the brides' list. She felt like a princess. She wanted to take it home forever. Julie told us the dress was $30 to rent, and that we were welcome to do any alterations we wanted. She also said that we did not need to have it cleaned before returning it. That cleaning was included in the rental price, or if we wanted to keep it forever it was $50 to buy the dress. We were in that store for less than 30 minutes and this woman showed more compassion, professionalism, and integrity than the bougie, high-end, world-known bridal companies. We bought the dress and I got to my car and called my son crying happy tears. Please recall this story next time you are in a position to support a small, locally owned business and if you ever need a formal dress for a prom or wedding please go see Julie at Louise's you will not be sorry. Incredible prices and customer service that will never be beaten. From the depths of my heart, I thank you Julie. I feel even these words are not enough to truly express my gratitude.

Perfect easy rental for a formal wedding! Tons of dresses to choose from for any age or style. I spent $30 to rent a dress for a black tie optional affair. The dress had minor damage but the owner sewed it right up at no extra charge. Def recommend checking the place out of you don't want to spend a ton of money or you're in a crunch for a dress!
