Received a quality education there and it took me a long way. Two of my cousins and my daughter also graduated from Bridgewater.

Campus is nice and price is much better than most 4 year universities. College is college. You have to put in the work.

The way this school does everything needs to be changed. My niece could not graduate on time because of their policy of not offering all of the classes needed to finish her degree each fall or spring semester. She transferred here because it is closer to home and she wanted to save money on housing. The entirety of her education there, they did not offer classes in the semesters she needed to graduate and she was hesitant to take online courses as they charge $500 per credit for a summer course with no financial aid. Most of her courses are 4 credits because she is a science major. She also mentioned how her advisor throughout her schooling there was unhelpful and even encouraged her to register for classes she had already taken without realizing they had been completed so she had to figure out a lot of issues on her own. You can understand how frustrating that may be. Among other things, they require you to pay within 2 days of your registration for summer courses after not giving you a price of how much the class is beforehand. Anyway, save money and go to community college.

Just returned to campus for Homecoming and was duly impressed with the campus and how far it's come since I graduated. The science building where I spent many many hours is amazing!! I had a chance to walk around and soak it all in. I had an incredible experience here as an undergrad after transferring from BU. If I lived closer I'd love to work here. The grounds are immaculate and for a school founded in 1840 it's an excellent blend of modern and traditional. The art building is an architectural gem and the exhibit I saw inside was equally impressive. We had a fantastic weekend and even though two days is hardly indicative of spending four years here in 2021 I would hazard to guess it's like everything else in life. You make of it what you will. I recalled an excellent education and fond memories of friends and dedicated staff.
