We can definitely recommend "Rail Trail Bike and Kayak Shop". Great place to rent bikes. Parking is convenient, prices are fair and the bikes are well maintained. As the access to the Rail Trail is right behind the house you don't have to ride on busy roads which is nice when you are traveling with children. The gentleman running the store was very friendly and provided some good recommendations where to go. Five stars!

Had a great experience riding the rail trail from here to National Seashore salt Pond /Nauset Beach. The e-bikes were great and the owner, Philip is so helpful and friendly. I highly recommend renting from here!

Rail Trail Bike & Kayak has a couple of poor reviews, but they are from a time period when the business was under different ownership. We rented hybrid bicycles to cruise the Cape Cod Rail Trail for a few hours, and we had a wonderful experience. On arrival, we were greeted by an affectionate and adorable King Charles spaniel and an attentive and helpful owner. The bicycles were fairly new and well-maintained, prices were reasonable, and the owner, was friendly, courteous and professional. He took the time to ensure that the bicycles were a good fit, and gave excellent advice about the local trails. Chatting with him and playing with the dog were almost as much fun as riding the trail. Overall, I can't imagine any way that the service could have been better. Thank you Philip for an excellent experience, and we love your dog!

Awesome place! Just went here (my first time in the Cod). Lovely bike trails right next to the shop. You can see the oceans, freshwater and tons of forest. Will definitely be back for the warmer season. Check this place out!

We picked this bike shop for its early open hours and proximity to the trail and I’m glad we did! We visited the bike shop under its new ownership with Phillip. He was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Fitted us for bikes, offered helmets, gave us maps (with suggestions!) and complimentary waters! Highly recommend this shop for biking in the Cape!

I tragically rode over a thorn that ruined my tire while riding on the trail today :( Luckily I was only 1.5 miles down the trail from Marley. Him and his owners took me in and saved the day!! Thank you again for the speedy repair ??♀️?

Incredible service and beautiful bikes!Right on the rail trail and super convenient parking area. The cheese shop next door does amazing sandwiches so we picked some up, grabbed our bikes and had the most incredible morning exploring. I can’t recommend Rail Trail Bike and Kayak Shop enough.

Excellent service! I had broken derailer and the mechanic repaired it very quickly. I pointed out a few little issues with my bike and the mechanic knew exactly how to fix it. Had a nice chat too, very friendly guy! I was counting in my bike during our trip in Cape Cod, so this a real blessing! Much appreciated, very reasonable price too. Highly recommended!

Right on trail near Brewster bike rental which we wanted to rent from based off higher reviews but they were closing earlier so came here. We were quickly checked out and given bikes with no info on trail other than it was directly behind the building which was fine. We didn’t ask questions on which was the better way to go. I had to have my boyfriend adjust my seat as I couldn’t pull it up myself and the guy had already went to the next customer. Nice bikes!! No helmets were given to us.

Great place to rent bikes. The gentleman that owns it was nice to talk to. Rental includes helmet and if renting by day includes a lock. Bikes are solid no frills and well maintained. Easy access to Rail Trail from the shop. Will definitely rent from him again.
