I would give zero stars if I could. Mail carrier rang our doorbell and handed my husband a small package from Macy' s that was torn open; carrier said she received the package like that. The gold necklace that was supposed to be in the box was missing. The only way this could happen is if someone at the mail facility opened the box & stole the necklace. We tried to file a claim but could not because Macy's did not get the package insured. We are out $90 and our daughter did not get the necklace for Christmas. Liars and thieves stealing from children.

I've never had as poor an experience in any store, or USPS Office, as I recently did in the Braintree Annex with Bob and Zach. They were rude, unhelpful, and the list goes on. I'm in shock because I've never had anyone talk to me the way these two did. One issue was not receiving mail for nearly 5 weeks. I was sure I had to be misunderstanding their response, so I asked them if they were saying I "just had to take it" which they literally said yes. I want to state that I was NOT rude, NOT pushy but was persistent because I was trying to solve the issue. Zach looked to see if I had any mail and found several letters....just sitting there, and I've no idea for how long. He offered to drop it off at my house, and I thanked him but told him I'd pick it up after work. I went to the annex after work and no one knew anything about it. Nice. After a long day at work. I called him the next day about it and he said he left it in the store. I asked what he meant by that because I didn't know. I asked him where was it, and he said the post office in my town near where I live. How was I suppose to know that? How was I suppose to know what the "store" is if they don't tell me? Niether Bob nor Zach were able to solve why I'm not receiving my mail, and they told me there wasn't anything they could do to help me, and that I'd just have to accept it. I'm still in shock. One of them said in a previous conversation that he knew the people that work in my "regular location" and agreed they're rude and mistreat people that go in there, and said he's seen it many times. I asked why didn't they do something about it, and he said they couldn't. They couldn't do anything about it. There are some routes that do not have a regular carrier so anyone can take it on any given day. Those are referred to as box routes, if I understood them correctly. This means if no one wants to do it on any particular day, that the area will not receive mail that day but that they "try to see that they get it the next day, but there's no guarantee. I asked for a phone number because I wanted to speak to someone else about an issue they wouldn't help with or unwilling to, and they said they're "not allowed to give that number out." More like they were just covering their behinds, but that's ok. I got it on my own without their help. Anywhere else and these guys would find theirselves without a job. There's been a lot of talk about privitizing the usps. I was never for it before, but I am now.

Terrible. The mail man didn't even attempt to use my buzzer to deliver my package to me. They just left notices in my mail box with out even trying. I was home all day and didn't get any buzzes but got a notice in my mail box??? I call this number and the person answers and says hello? I'm like is this the post office? They're like yeah. Um ok who are you and why am I speaking to you? So I tell them my issue and give me to the supervisor who just was rude, argued with me, and hung up on me. Pathetic. Who hires these people?

I don't understand why USPS is a pain in Braintree. Not only are packages sometimes not delivered but also there are no attempts to leave the package where they are. Back door side door are all possibilities of drop off locations instead of the front door yet the carriers that work here do not attempt to use them. Out of many cases, only once did I receive a mail on Sunday because I complained to them. Packages that are not left are still marked as delivered and still no slips left.
I can only beg for carriers to be more smarter and leave packages between the door and the screen door where people do not see it conveniently.
