“So happy to have a post office open every day 6am to midnight! Came here on a Saturday afternoon because most post offices closed at noon on Saturdays. Easy to get to location, free 15 min parking in front, and easy to drop off my packages. Thanks again! ?”

“Wonderful and friendly experience. I needed to purchase a shipping label to send a package to Georgia during peak hours (lunch). It was also the week before Christmas and the post office was understandably slammed. Despite that, the workers were very kind and efficient in servicing in the long line.”

“USPS Canton branch is conveniently located and easy to access (just don't perform a u-turn to park). The staff is always professional, friendly and happy to answer any questions one may have. Not all local USPS locations are equal, which is why I'll often drive further to this one even though it may not be the closest.”

“Leilani and Cory are the BEST! They helped me try to figure out how to get my oversized package shipped in a very tight timeframe with a reasonable cost. They were so nice and accommodating - definitely the best service I've received at this post office, or any post office really.”

“This post office does not deliver mail. All other services only. Such as, but not limited to, all mailing out/packaging & shipping services, p.o. box rentals, supplies, etc. Great customer service. Never really a long wait unless a customer holds up the line for whatever reason.”

“Dreading my visits to the Dedham post office, I stumbled upon this nearby post office with stellar reviews. The service at this hidden gem is a complete contrast – it's night and day. Enduring years of dissatisfaction at the Dedham location post office, discovering this place has been a game-changer. No more alternatives for me – this is my go-to now!”

“Go early, can be very busy and long line. Teller noticed I needed help for a label which they didn’t have and gave me a marker to write on the box and tape for the Priority boxes I needed to ship my items (can use their tape only for Priority shipping). Really appreciated her awareness to my need.”

“My husband and I had an 11:30am appointment, Wednesday 9/7/2022 at Post office in South Weymouth to bring our passport applications and other documents needed. Worked with Brittany and she made it painless . She was efficient and pleasant. We thank her.”

“I'm a big fan of this place and whenever I go there to mail something, I go inside because the people who work there have always been pleasant and helpful and I'd rather talk with them than just drop a letter in one of the mailboxes right outside.”

“I always have a great experience! One clerk was so kind, I wish I got her name. She could see me struggling to find a reasonable box size for what I was mailing, and she gave me some helpful suggestions and even went out back to find some bubble mailers in the pattern I liked. Everyone who works here is very kind, and I always find that the post office is the lowest price and fastest mailing option! The negative reviews I see give me a laugh — expecting services that are not offered (for free,) blaming system outages on the employees, etc. You can always buy tape and boxes and pack your packages on site! I usually do it with the bubble mailers. This is a great post office and I love the one down the street in Wollaston as well :)”

“This is a very busy location that serves a population with very diverse needs. Every person behind the desk is courteous, friendly, and truly, remarkably patient. They know their stuff and they make sure each customer gets the help they need. If you are annoyed about waiting in line, just know that they will give you the same careful attention they gave those ahead of you. A+ for service.”

“Helped get my mail. I guess where I moved mail is only delivered to one side of street. Anyways the mail was getting delivered across the street for a bit before the error was caught. I appreciate the help.”

“Another frequent patron of the Brookline Village Post Office came across the previous comment and mentioned it in passing. I was appalled when I finally read it myself because I was off to the side addressing some priority mail when all this happened. Let me first make clear something that neither this individual nor the other person present seem to have been aware of: there is ample and clear signage in multiple locations directing patrons where and where not to stand. This gentleman and the “difficult” person he mentions (who, by the way, apologized to the clerk for her behavior while up at the window, one of several pertinent facts which seem to have eluded the commenter) were standing where it was clearly marked with red x’s and text saying “Do Not Stand Here”. Furthermore, they had completely ignored the large sign, prominently displayed and visible as soon as you come in the door , clearly directing people where the line begins. I’m sorry for this gentleman’s color blindness, but I’d bet he has no trouble reading. His assertion about labels and being constrained to pay more because of a lack of them is patently false, as anyone who frequents a post office knows. Priority Express is the only mailing requiring a specific label and there are always piles of those available in the slots on the side or from any clerk. Otherwise, you address your mail yourself, then choose how you want to send it. He further maintains that the clerk saw he needed tape and did nothing about it. Did he ask for tape like any normal adult would do instead of relying on someone to see something which might not be evident at all? Seems not. That’s on him, not the clerk. Had he asked, he would have been offered the use of tape left behind by another customer or sold a roll if none of that were available, as I have seen happen countless times. Further undermining this observation is the statement he was sent to the back of the line causing him to have to endure a long wait. First of all, there was no line to speak of and he wasn’t even in the post office when I finally finished at the side and joined it. I was taken in about 5 minutes. Secondly, anyone who comes to the window and is lacking something is told to rectify the situation on the side then come straight back once they’re ready. They are specifically told NOT to get back in line. I won’t even dignify the falsehoods about growling and hissing with a response. As someone who is at the Village at least once a week, I am grateful for the current crew’s unfailing courtesy, good humor, and efficiency and so are all the others I know who depend on this office. One of the clerks there had been staffing the place alone for 3 months, doing everything from the PO boxes to serving customers to sweeping. They were there from opening until closing, six days a week and, to my knowledge, never missed a day while impressing me not only with their diligence but their patience and efficiency. So, I have no idea what prompted such a wildly skewed and falsifying outburst, but it definitely does not reflect what happened or the reality of how this PO works. The same goes for Jean C’s comment which I happened to read while here - completely false and racist to boot since she is referring to a person of color who speaks perfect English albeit with a Haitian accent. In fact, I am struck by how many of these recent comments leave me with the feeling that they are prompted by some personal grievance and score settling rather than an accurate appraisal. Get a life people.”
