My husband and I have lived here for two years and had overall a very positive experience. Maintenance has always been super responsive and helpful the couple of times we needed them. The landscaping is done religiously and the grounds always look good. However there online payment process is awful within the first month we were unable to use it and have had to mail our rent every month by money order which requires much more effort and time especially relying on the USPS!?! Because of this it seems as if we are always paying late and I find myself spending severals days on the phone tracking my payments to make sure they are recieved. My husband and I are hardworking and keep to ourselves. He is a VETERAN and a FIREFIGHTER and I work in sales and we have discussed with the management the frustration with the payment setup. Because of this they served us a non renewal letter with only 90 days notice. You cant just look at each apartment as oly a dollar amount. Each apartment is filled with a family. Sometimes its about the quality of the people not just the $.

It's only been a short time since we have been here. but there a real feeling of neighborhood. i like being in a gated community. the lawn and grounds for the most part is kept up. if I had one complaint it would be people that don't pick up after their dogs. but i have even seen grounds picking that up. witch i have not seen in other places. Very quiet, clean, and overall friendly. nice place to live.

It was pretty good but they send me and my family a letter telling us we had to move out of the townhouse we were renting. Only after we wrote then a letter about all our complaints and that stuff did they ask us to sign the contract for another year. Even with all that it was really beautiful and the elementary Liberty and Middle school South were really good.

Brutal management, not a serious operation. They change every 6-12 months and you can tell. Most times you call with a concern they will call you a liar and say “we cannot confirm this” repeatedly. When you call, their goal is to aggravate you to a point of using expletives and then hang up on you after they’ve achieved their goal. Also, there is no parking anywhere and if you dare park not in a spot, they will tow your car from Braintree to Newton(passing many many many other tow operations) and charge you $351. They are truly a disgrace to the UDR organization.

My apartment is more than I could ask for. It has double sinks, in-unit laundry and a garage. However, I just moved here and already have a package missing. UDR does not seem to care about the management team they have here or else they would hire the people necessary to keep this gated community safe and their belongings secure. Instead, they think that it is the responsibility of the carrier to know the layout of the community and deliver packages to people’s doorsteps. Then when your packages are missing, it’s apparently your fault for living here. Supposedly, the carriers are to deliver packages to people’s front doors…. that being said, the layout of this community is incredibly confusing and is not entirely intuitive. Front doors do not even face the same direction. I’m greatly disappointed with how they are handling this matter. For anyone who is renting and paying this much, you’ll have to consider if you want to expend the extra energy and effort every time you have a package en route. You might have to be a vigilante.

I sold my house and have been living here for several months and we really are enjoying it. We looked at several communities and this was the best one we saw. Mostly professionals with not a lot of screaming kids. Also very convenient to a lot of places including Boston. The units are uniquely designed and really nice. Best part is that management is very responsive to any requests. Recommend it.

Incredibly slow to respond, but all too happy to take your money up front.
Follow up: once they finally got in touch, they were quite accommodating.

Lenox Farms is a wonderful beautiful secluded dog friendly communiTy! it's very peaceful and you cannot hear through the walls of your neighbors( which I was worried about) I've only been here a week and needed a few service calls for small fixes. it's extremely easy to submit the request and the maintenance guy is amazing and personable. the woman in the office are very nice and understanding. our townhome is on the corner. it's a beautiful 2 bedroom and office with an overlook to the first floor. the bathrooms are more than spacious along with both walk in closets. I have already recommended two people here. one already met with the office and the other person wants to sign in the spring when her lease is up. Thank you for giving me an amazing space to call home

Lenox Farms at 550 Liberty Street Braintree is a pathetic community to live in. When i came here i was promised a safe gated environment to live in peacefully however since the day one i did not feel safe here. On day one itself the loosely hung window bilnd fell on my face and cut me on my forehead with a lot of bleeding. I was lucky that i somehow saved myself and it did not lead to any fatel accident. Had it been my kid turning the blinds it could have been very dangerous. When we moved in, the main gate at lenox drive used to be closed after a specific time in night however that also worked for a few days and since then it remains open 24/7 which is a huge risk to the community. What is the use of the remote key given to the residents. We were even explained this as a strong security feature for the community. I understand things go wrong and i even remember an email from the leasing office about it that it will be repaired soon however it is more than 3 months since that email and the situation is still the same.My garage door was broken since the time i moved in and when i requested for repairing my garage door, after multiple visits and followup for more than a month, I was told that it is a huge cost and management has decided not to get this repaired. I even posted this as feedback when asked by Lenox farms and no one even bothered after that. It is so dangerous that twice it came down suddenly and was about to fell on my son. Since that day i am not allowing my kids to walk in/out of that door. There had bee multiple crimes happened inside the community in last 3-4 months to as bad as theft from the car after breaking the window glass.I am not even counting the smaller maintainance issues like bathroom light, ice dispenser which required multiple followups for weeks to get them resolved. I even stopped following up on these issues now.Post all these issues (including life thretning ones) do you think any sensible person will continue staying here hence i decided to move out and now Lenox Farms is asking me for a 60 days notice and 60 days od rent as lease breakage charges so they are asking me for a 4 mo th rent without me living here. What if the garage door falls on one of us during this duration, who will take the responsibility? If any other crime happe s due to main gate not working, who will be responsible? They want me to pay for the lease breakage where as the lease is broken feom their side by not providimg the services promised. They were supposed to provide me the maintainance amd service, at least for the issues which are life threatning/security related however they completely failed and they are asking me to pay the lease breakage charges. While I have asked at the leasing office to send me the email with the details of the charges and then I will work withy attorney on the same however I just wanted to warn all who are looking for leasing an apartment at lenox farms to be careful about what you are paying for.

My daughter has lived in Lenox Farms for one year. Before moving in we were shown a unit that was in significantly better condition than the unit she was given. The list of issues my daughter encountered upon moving in was appalling. It took management over one month to resolve the problems and truthfully, she let several things go out of sheer frustration. Maintenance often shows up unannounced which is completely outrageous. My daughter literally woke up to a maintenance man in her apartment at 6:30 in the morning. There is now a full-time police detail for Lenox Farms due to the rampant crime in the complex. This may account for why the rent this year was increased $500 a month if she chose to renew her lease. Today is Memorial Day and there are currently 25 residents of Lenox Farms lined up at the gate for a pool they cannot get into because management has no idea where the key is. Children hoping to enjoy the holiday from school are patiently waiting for someone to let them in so they can swim on this beautiful first day of the summer season. I appreciate that the cost of housing, and everything else, has skyrocketed but for a company to feel justified raising rent by $500 after one year, in spite of egregious problems is nothing more than money-grabbing. If you are looking for a safe, well-maintained luxury apartment complex that charges $3000.00 a month for a one-bedroom apartment, I strongly advise that you look anywhere but Lenox Farms.
