My car has been there for almost three months. I have called at least 7 times for updates, always told someone would call me back and I have not once received a phone call. I understand that parts for newer cars can take time but the customer service has been horrendous.

This place is terrible, I took my car to paint a small scratch, it took them 1 month and they painted the car in the last few days after calling several times, they gave me the car completely scratched, they did not clean it, they left paint residue, and It looks bad painted, the worst thing that has happened to my car and it is new!

Run don’t walk from this company. I went with them due to the great service at MB Boston - big mistake. They had my car for 4 weeks and didn’t touch it and made excuses each week. In the 4th week I went to get the car and brought it to South Shore Collision and they had it repaired in 3 days.

One of the WORST body shops in MA and possibly the world.
Had car evaluated and quoted for 1800, they told me MAX 2300. They order parts, we wait a month to drop the car off. We drop the car off for a repair that was meant to take “2-3 days” and we wait another month. AND THEN ANOTHER MONTH. 3 months for a “2-3 day” repair. The absolute worst part of Herb Chambers is their lack or transparency with their customers. Each day, we were told a different story about the “last missing part”. After 3 months of waiting, the best part was we threatened to get lawyers involved and pick up the car as is and they “all of the sudden” found the “last part” under the managers desk.
The icing on the cake was that Herb Chambers made us pay 4300 to pick up the car - DOUBLE THE ORIGINAL MAX QUOTE.
If you care about transparency, safety and customer service, do not go here. Choose ANYWHERE ELSE BUT Herb Chambers Collision.

For your own safety, avoid this place.
Herb chambers Lexus of Sharon sent my car to this shop to get some rust repaired under corrosion warranty. Car looked good after repaired (they had to cut off the rusted quarter panel and install new one).
About 1 year later, my car was involved in a minor accident on the same side and this reputable body shop where I brought my car for repair showed me the terrible repair job Herb Chambers did on the quarter panel. They DID NOT FOLLOW OEM PROCEDURE to replace the quarter panel though they were supposed to. The body shop also told that if my car sustained a more severe impact to that side that likely the car would not hold up as it should because they did not follow the correct OEM procedure.
I sent them an email of the pics where they did a hack job and of course you can only tell when the car is taken apart. Called many times and
No response. I asked them to email me the Lexus OEM procedure to replace the quarter panel and no response. They glued the panel on instead of welding the panel on. Huge safety concern.

I only needed a bumper to be replaced. The work itself was fine, but i was continuously lied to regarding the timeline. Was originally told 2-4 weeks, my rental was only partially covered for the 4 weeks, so when 4 weeks came and they were still “waiting on a part, but it'll be in and done this week” I was understandably frustrated especially when I was told the exact same thing the following monday and then again the Monday after that. To add insult to injury when the truck was finally done after 6 weeks, I was told I could pick it up anytime after 4pm, so when I called at 4:45 to say I was on my way and where to park (and they said out front is fine, “see you soon”), I was very shocked that when I arrived at 5:01 the building was locked and not a soul was still inside. I definitely could have checked their closing time on line, but you’d think they’d have the courtesy to mention that they close in 15 minutes so hurry up. I accrued an additional $300-500 in rental fees because of the terrible speed and efficiency at this facility. If quoted 6 weeks I would’ve taken my business elsewhere. My truck was essentially held hostage for 5.5 weeks waiting for “a part” while I paid rental fees and waited. Ford has gone so far downhill it’s not funny, and I sincerely hope you take your collision elsewhere.

Very unsatisfied with the service at the Braintree location. Customer service is nonexistent, as they have been unprofessional and plainly rude. The manager, Shaun, refused to speak with me until I insisted multiple times for an update on my car that has been at the shop since January 29. They had told me the repairs would take 3-4 weeks, but since that time they have not kept me in the loop and have lied on any progress of the car. Lee had said to me rudely, "I'm not the one who dropped a tree on your car" when I expressed my frustrations with the delays and lack of communication.

I brought my car in from my car accident which was the bumper and one of the rear light as well a little dent but it took them 4 month to fix. The worst part is they never updated me on anything of what going on or what the hold up. I had to call every time before I knew anything. Worst experience ever. Don’t go here to fix your vehicle if you rely on your transportation to go to work.

Brought my car there in November. 2 months later I get the car back and it was making a rumbling noise I called them and they said it's the 2 front tires that needs to be changed. Paid them $ 600 dollars for the 2 tires and it was still making that same noise. We're going through March now and I still haven't got the car back. At this point I'm gonna have to go buy another car.

Don’t bring your car here I still waiting for my car since December 15 I did a complaint in the attorney of the city this is the worst place to bring your vehicle nobody call me there always got an excused the last thing there told me the waiting for the water pump they got the water pump since two days ago now is February 21 2024 without my car so frustrating this process I don’t know what else to do DoNt bring your vehicle here this is the worst place ever and I told the girl in the customer how long is to put a water pump is not like three hours she told me come on here and put the water pump yourself they get paid to the insurance 5,000 dollars and I’m still without my car this is so ridiculous I’m just so frustrated never in my life a have a accident and this is the process no calls nothing this place should be closed there don’t care about the customers it all

I recently picked up my 2018 Honda Clarity from Herb Chambers Collison center and was extremely pleased. My advisor / appraiser, Lee McInerney, was more than super to work with. From my initial drop off to pick up, Lee's attention to detail and her clear and articulate approach in explaining the damage to my vehicle and what to expect in terms of repair made the whole experience great. I wish others in the automotive industry would take lessons from her and the entire Herb Chambers Collison center staff of professionals. Couldn't have asked for a better place to bring my vehicle.BRYANT

The technicians did a fantastic job on the repair looks just like I bought it again. Jeff was extremely helpful and thorough with the all the parts that needed to be replaced. I couldn't be happier with my experience.

Terrible customer experience & communication. The work got done well.Over the course of 4 weeks of my car being in the shop I called for an update at the beginning and end of each week. I was never given the information I asked for or a real update. On 4 occasions I was put on hold, told I would be called back that day, and NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. This happened 4 times, and twice on a friday morning where I was left to wait over the weekend with absolutely no update.They also told me on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS that they would handle extending my rental car, and they never actually did that.Finally, at the beginning of week 3 I was told the car would be done EOW. That friday they pulled the not calling back thing, and then I had another whole week of them not giving me any update and finally got to pick the car up 2 weeks later.And if you look at the 1 star reviews, it looks like MANY OTHER PEOPLE have had the same experience. It is just shameful that these people think its OK to lie on the phone, and not follow up with customers whose car was entrusted to them.

I don't have my car back yet and it has been 7 weeks. Everytime I call, whomever I speak with is very nice. My concern is the information I am given changes each time along with the time line.
