We absolutely LOVE BASE! I am the current mom of a 3 year old preschool student at base as well as a 7 year old second grader who attends base summer camp. Both the parents and the kids love it!When my older daughter's preschool, that we loved, closed due to covid, we were concerned about finding a good fit for our youngest. She had been out of a school/daycare setting for well over a year and we were looking for somewhere she could socialize safely and learn. Additionally, we wanted an actual school curriculum (not a daycare program), but with the flexibility in schedule for a two working parent household. After asking around, it was obvious we had to check out BASE, and we are so glad we did.Our daughter has thrived socially, emotionally, and academically since joining preschool 1 at BASE this past August. She has made so many great friends, loves the teachers, and has developed so much in just the past 7 months. The teachers are great about sharing the curriculum, and provide lots of updates/photos throughout the week. They even coordinate with local businesses to offer extracurriculars during the day, which is so great for this busy mom. We love the gymnastics they offer at a local gym as well as the onsite dance classes. The students get tons of hands on learning in the classroom combined with a ton of fun. Additionally, I love the big fenced in yard they have for lots of outdoor time. Whether it's water play in the summer, or sledding in the winter, the kids are always getting outside which is great, in general, but especially during covid times. Even this past winter with the widespread spike of covid, we never had an issue. BASE did everything to keep our children safe, from wearing masks, to sterilizing, etc. We couldn't be happier with this program! My older daughter, currently in second grade, attended BASE summer camp last year and also loved it. It was a great combination of outdoor play, fun in class activities/crafts, as well as some really awesome field trips. We are already happily enrolled for the upcoming summer and can't wait to see what the teachers have planned! There is a lot to think about when picking the right school for your child, but I really think BASE is a great option for those looking for a welcoming school that really helps your child grow in all aspects of learning. Everyone from the directors, office staff, teachers, and families we've met have been nothing but supportive, kind, and willing to help. We feel very lucky to have a local option that fits all of our needs!

If I could give BASE 10 stars, I would. During the hybrid Covid year, my daughter got the last spot in the full-day private K class. Not only did she leave Kindergarten fully reading but she absolutely adored every single teacher at BASE.This year, my daughter is still doing the before/after school care, while my younger son is in one of the preschool classes. This is his first year with BASE. He went from crying every morning at drop off at his old school to having ZERO issues with drop offs since he started at BASE. Every Monday my son takes a piano class, offered by BASE. On Wednesday's he does a gymnastics class and a Muay Thai class that he loves.BASE has so many wonderful opportunities. Not just during the school year- over the summer they run as a full camp with activities and field trips!! The staff are all wonderful, everyone is so friendly. When I walk in to pick up I am always greeted with smiles from everyone. Thank you for all you do BASE! Keep it up!

I honestly don't know how anyone could not give BASE 5-stars. The program is absolutely amazing, they assist in bringing the children to activities like gymnastics or piano lessons during the day. The teachers are WONDERFUL as is the admin staff. They have accommodated us tremendously with both our boys. Literally couldn't recommend BASE more.

I had not sent my kids here, but I had considered this school as a day care for when they were 3. We had just found out that they will need speech services from Early intervention, which we were going to avail from Town's preschool system. During our tour, I was told, we cant provide services and there is a long wait during our in person tour.About the wait, it never was mentioned when we said we wanted to tour the place, if a center is full you say, sorry its full until next year similar to what I had heard from other day cares if they were. I felt the response to us during the tour by the Supervisor/ Director was unprofessional, we cant accommodate special services. Thinking back on 2019, I am glad I didn't, since my kids have since then gone to a nurturing and loving environment for school and day care and they are doing amazing. Sometimes kids in general just need an opportunity and kindness from people around them.

Professional and caring environment. My kids love going after school and to the vacation camps. Tons of activity and enrichment and they follow the strictest safety protocols so i always feel safe that they are taking great care of my lids when i cant!

The Worse School! If I had a choice it would be No Star!My experience with BASE was associated with significant negative outcomes. POOR quality, values, reliability and responsiveness.I dropped by unannounced to see the Teachers spending more time talking and gossiping in front of the children then interacting and playing with the children. My child came home to tell me her teacher said she did not like the other teacher.Short staffs. If you need to talk to coordinator/Director they will tell you they don't have very much time. if you ask to speak with the owner, prepare for attitude and lack of understanding of I don't care. Also if the teacher calls out sick prepare for the owner and director filling in instead of just hiring ongoing teacher floater.I did not give the school consent to have my child photos to be surfaced on Facebook except Instagram to see what my child is doing daily.Tuition goes up every year. they will send a quick distraction emails stating the tuition will be this much going-forward with many other distractions to keep it moving.Donation is ongoing request every month they request donation for class materials such being class supplies, toys, and equipment they need to update and they want you to provide your children's pencils, markers etc., as if the tuition is not enough. Anything that needs to be fixed in the building, they will ask for donation. When a child is treated unkind by other students, the child is told to go and figure it on their own instead of the teacher assisting the child. My child needed to use the bathroom during pick up. When I asked the teacher; her answer to me was "I just cleaned the bathroom, I can't allow anyone to go into the bathroom than I would have to clean it again." I had to drive home with my child sobbing needing to use the bathroom.Favoritism is a huge issue. I was devastated my child had to succumb to such arrogance.I will not refer anyone else to B.A.S.E.

We have 2 boys that both attended BASE for many years - from preschool all through elementary school summer camp. From the first day, this place and the teachers were fantastic. We don't even live in Braintree but were still more than happy to drive out of our way to bring our kids here daily. The demand for BASE enrollment is always very high so, it's critical to keep close tabs on enrollment deadlines and lottery placement etc. Over the years we consider ourselves lucky to have found this place and the wonderful, loving, caring people that make BASE what it is. I recommend BASE regularly to other parents on the south shore. Even after our kids don't attend anymore, we remain friends with both families and staff we met there. If anyone at BASE reads this, thank you for helping raise our boys! They are smarter, better, brighter, and more caring people because of you. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This is our second year at BASE and we love it. We have two in Preschool and one in the after school program. The opportunities they provide for not only the school aged children (which great after school teachers and field trips during vacations and summer) but for the preschool aged children as well. One of my children goes weekly to a local Assisted Living facility where they read, play games and just have fun. I think this itself is something that is amazing for both the preschoolers and the people at the Assisted Living. They also provide opportunities that we did not find at other local area preschools with being able to take them to swim lessons, gymnastics and other extracurricular activities at the school. All in all a great place with great teachers!

My daughter attended base for 2 years. The first year was okay however she didn't get "picked" for the summer camp due to a lottery b.a.s.e does for summer camp. But her second year at b.a.s.e was horrible. My daughter didn't have before school care "only after school" that i found odd because i work full time. My daughter didn't like b.a.s.e at all. And I had no other choice but to send her there. Over the past few months, I noticed how these "sisters " played favoritism and only "picked"certain kids for camp (there wasn't a lottery). I was devastated that my child couldn't attend summer camp for the 2nd time in a row. Needless to say, I WILL NOT refer anyone else to B.A.S.E at all. The program is dirty, there is nasty molded raunchy smell in the basement where school age children attend. B.A.S.E. does not have enough staff to assist children to those that have needs for more help in education, and if you need more help you have to pay. Ridiculous right? Never again. But to each his own if you don't care for the lack of professionalism send your child to this place. Otherwise look into another after school that will OVER SUCCEED the needs of all children regardless if these sisters like you or not. Thanks for nothing B.A.S.E. this was a huge disappointment and I don't recommend this "place" at all.
