I used Boston Pack and Ship to send an antique piece of furniture from Boston to Sedona, AZ. I can't say enough about their service and the quality of the packing. Item arrived on the day they said it would and was in pristine condition. Easy to work with and great customer service. Highly recommend.

I hired Boston Pack and Ship to move two items from my storage unit in the Boston area to my home in Florida. Gene Sullivan was 110% responsive. He picked up the items on time, packed them expertly; and they arrived in perfect condition about ten days after pick up. I could not ask for better service. Five stars is not enough!

Stay away. I got one estimate of pricing, then ended up with a $1000 more. Then they lose two important boxes of mine shipping with them, and three months of calls and emails, I don't get any sincere concern or action about my boxes, but rather doubting if I numbered my boxes correctly or if I threw them away. Then three months later I get a call from someone from a different company's warehouse (they use them for freight) telling me she found my boxes sitting there. If it wasn't for this lady, I would have lost my stuff forever.

I would recommend anything but this. It is overpriced and when I went to ship a box,they say one box is 60 dollars, and the man charged me 120 because my box was "bigger" than the others, they charged all boxes the same.Then I called the company to ask further and they gave me sass and a bad attitude. Terrible service and employees. It made me so upset that it ruined my day.

I bought a few items from an auction house in Boston back in November, and the auctioneer recommended Boston Pack and Ship to get said items to my home in San Diego. Nothing big, just a few 8x10 photographs. Simple! I called and spoke to Gene, who told me that they would be over to the auction house later that week to pick up my items (as part of a group pickup). Awesome. I asked Gene to either call or email me when he needed my credit card information for payment. So far so good. Friday came and went. Nothing. Ok, it's getting close to the holidays...I get it, they're busy. I gave them another few days. No response. Two voicemails and an email. Nothing. Finally, a week later, I get a hold of them again, only to find out that "something happened" and that they didn't pick up my items. Gene assured me that he would reschedule my pickup as soon as he could. That conversation ended with him telling me that he would call me in 'the next day or two' with a final price for shipment and insurance. Over a month later, I'm still waiting for that call. I finally got so frustrated with them that I just called another company in Boston, who picked up my items THAT DAY and had them in the mail to me the day after. Maybe they blew me off because I only had a few small items to ship (quoted at $195 plus insurance), or maybe they forgot about me. Either way, as the owner of a medium sized business myself I know from experience that you aren't going to be successful if you can't take care of the 'little guys' as well the larger players. Zero stars if I could. By far the most unprofessional company I've ever (partially) worked with.

We at Casey Movers do not hesitate to refer our customers to this business for shipments we do not think we are best suited for (smaller inter-state shipments under 3,000lbs, etc). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT USE THIS SHIPPING COMPANY. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Explanation below. I've been refraining from writing this complaint until I was calm enough to form sentences. I have never in my life experienced worse customer service than from this company. I called the company and requested that they come pick up two boxes from my apartment to ship back to me at school. They came, collected my items, took my information, told me that they would ship them on the agreed date, and left. I emailed the manager with my shipping information and told him to inform me when he needed further payment information. When I arrived at school, my boxes were no where to be found. You can imagine how confused, upset, and frustrated I felt. I attempted to reach out to the manager and waited for his return call until the beginning of the work week (super unprofessional). Then, when he finally did call me back, he blamed me for not following up with the shipment of my items, regardless of sending him my information in advance. He blamed the customer. When I requested a discount for the late shipment, he blatantly and rudely refused. It cost me an absurd amount of money and they treated me with absolutely no respect. I hope you find a better company than I did.
