“Great service and great food! The workers are attentative even when they are attending to other customers. They have few spots to eat inside, but they play a Polish radio, which is nice to listen to. We asked for the keilbasa sandwich to be split in half and they were happy to do so. The pierogies were great, loved the potato mixture inside.”

“Need to shop here more. I forget how good everything is. Everything I just bought was much better than comparable products I buy elsewhere. Really great quality at reasonable prices. And they donate. And the staff are super nice and happy. It’s like a hidden gem. Why doesn’t everyone shop here?”

“Found this place since our son lives in town and just happened to need a few things. I'd echo other reviews about the great selection for a small store. Also a friendly, neighborhood atmosphere.”

“Henry's is about 50 minutes south from where I live, but well worth the trip a couple times a year for their prepared foods and bakery. I stock up on their heat-and-eat chicken pot pies (best I've had anywhere), raspberry filled cookies, and whatever else looks good at the time. Five stars!”

“Love this place, live right around the corner so I'm in there often. More variety of things you can get there than any 7/11 type of convenience store has. The family that owns and runs the store are friendly, I'm always happy to go in.”

“I picture heaven to be Tendercrop Farm. The butchers are absolute pros, and you'll find some of the best quality beef in the world here. The baked goods are all top notch, but reach for the M&M cookies and thank me later. The fruits and vegetables also cannot be beat. Tomato season here is worth a pilgrimage from near and far.”

“Can’t beat the price. However you have to beat the lines as often they back up quite a bit. And its mainley due to morons not knowing how to load the station. Some try to beat the line by comjng in backwards. They are complete buffoons! Good to see attendants stopping them and making them pull back out and do it right. Overall great place for low price gas. I also take advantage of the unlimited car wash deal next door. Gas and a wash every time.”

“I love this place! I grew up in RI, my husband in Boston and now live in Seattle area. However, my daughter recently moved to NH and we go back to New England a couple times a year. McKinnon's is a stop for steak tips and many other things (lobster pie, scallop pie etc.) From the store to my daughters freezer... then on to the plane back to Seattle. We stock up and enjoy until the next time we return! We use to buy our tips at other places until we realized this store is very close to my daughter's place in Seabrook. We've tried them all, but the original is our fave marinade. It's our go to spot now. It has everything, and it's all quality products.”

“This is simply the best outlet for your grocery needs in Lawrence MA. They have all types of green vegetables. Their poultry section is also irresistible. Fairly priced place for the locals. You can have a variety of beans and sauces. Market Basket is a chain of daily needs shopping in New Hampshire, MA, Maine and perhaps other states of the USA. Must visit this place if you are here to get all your groceries and home kitchen under one single roof”

“My daughter drives by after work and stops at Farmer Brown to grab soups, etc. periodically and grabs me stuff too. I love to make soup at home BUT sometime I like taking a break from cooking. Because I make soup often I have a tendency to be a bit fussy when having it elsewhere. That said, I could easily eat Farmer Brown's soup on the daily. I've probably tried most of them and they are absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Thank you FB for making quality soups , etc.”

“We have enjoyed their meats for over 20 and have traveled from wherever we have in New England, including ME, NH and now CT as well as right there in Peabody, to purchase their meat boxes. They have never disappointed us.”

“If you want top quality Choice grade steaks, this is a tried and true butcher shop. A bit pricey but better than most of the competition these days. Picked up 5 bone-in ribeye steaks. Excellent.”

“Very clean store. Good selection of products. A lot of organic options. Being on a restricted diet doesn't allow me a lot of variety but Aldi has the products that I need to maintain my diet correctly. Great selection of fruits and vegetables, fresh salmon, organic ground beef, and other products allow me to sustain myself and stay healthy on a renal diet. The double guarantee on products is a great benefit to shopping at Aldi. If you buy a product that you don't like simply return it with your receipt and you will receive a full refund and replacement of the product. You can't beat a guarantee like that. Staff of very friendly and there's always something new being placed in the freezer units. Last week was German week and I got an apple strudel in the frozen section. I brought it home and cooked it according to the package directions and it was absolutely delicious. I think it cost me just over $3.80 and I got two 9-in strudels that were absolutely the most delicious strudels I've ever had. Thank you Aldi for having such wonderful products at very reasonable prices.”

“Always my first choice for grocery shopping. It is sometimes good to go to other local stores. The variety of food and items available change slightly from store to store. One of my local stores offers smaller sizes of meats, which is great when you are only cooking for yourself.”

“I had some vegan meat balls. You couldn't even tell they where vegan. They where moist and yummy. Roasted brussel spouts and rice. Got it from their hot bar.”

“Just moved to Boxford from California and didn't expect the full features of a 'market'. They had excellent fruits and vegetables even in the dead of the winter season. The deli was as big or bigger than most of the so-called 'supermarket', as was the prepared food sections of quiches and pot pies. I found everything I needed and will be back to browse for extras! This is way more convenient than the drive into Andover and there's no good reason to with Crosby's here.”

4 Good74 Reviews

“Love Crosby’s!! However, purchased what I thought was fresh beef today that said sell by Oct 8 (todays the 5), I opened it and it was brown under the where the sticker price is and all throughout the meat. Disappointed, I thought they carried high-quality meats. Would add pics but already threw it away!”

“Great throwback to a time when every town had one or two good butchers.Nice selection of cuts. They have a walk up window if you need to place a special order or get a cut trimmed up.I was making turkey chili and wanted turkey tips. They had them cut but pre-marinated. Instead, I bought a boned turkey breast and cut that up for the chili. Lots of options plus a small, mini mart (salad stuff and canned goods) for those afterthought extras without having to go to Stop n Slop. Oh, beer anyone? Good selection of beer; traditional, IPA, and other specialized beer. They also have a prepared food section.”
