My dog obsessively plays with tennis balls, and it had looked like her teeth were pretty badly worn down. She is also fear aggressive, so I was very nervous about going to a new place. Scheduling the appointment was easy. They also allowed us to do a same day consultation and procedure. They were very great with her reactivity and had us wait in an exam room until her procedure and were great for if we needed anything. We were able to come and go and my dog was able to go on multiple walks while we waited which she loved. She did end up getting her teeth pulled but the doctor was lovely about continually updating us with what they were doing. They are absolutely worth the price and I will be coming here again!

My sweet kitty got some pretty scary biopsy results and our regular vet sent us over here to get more tests done. I’m so thankful we were sent here! Not only did we get fantastic vets for him, but they are also the kindest people ever. I am a very anxious pet owner and not only did they understand but they were in consistent contact with me to ease my anxiety as much as possible. We had a successful surgery and are just waiting on the final biopsy results but they have made me feel hopeful and reassured the entire time. I feel so lucky to have been sent to such a wonderful place. The price you pay is a thousand percent worth it for the skill and care that you and your pet receive here. I cannot recommend them enough!
Update: got a call from Dr. Feigin, who did his surgery and was amazing, saying the results were normal. I’ve never been so relieved in my life! They were constantly checking in on him through his healing process and answering any questions I had, even if they were silly, without judgment or irritation! I cannot say enough about how amazing this place is! We are looking forward to our follow up tomorrow and getting the final okay! Thank you all so much, especially to Dr.Feigin and Dr. Shope who have made this experience much more comfortable for both me and my kitty.

Great experience and customer service. Worth the wait. Thought of all the details making a tough procedure, full mouth teeth extractions, on my cat seem easy.

Very clean and professional Vet offices. Staff was friendly and helpful. Allowed time to review and accept or reject treatment options with no pressure. Procedures went very well and communication throughout was great. Before and after photos were provided. One word though .....they're services are in such high demand that you must wait many weeks just to have your pet seen. If your young and seeking a career go for vetinary dental school.

Can't say enough about the level of care my dog received at this dental hospital. I was a nervous wreck and they really put me at ease. Its easy to see that they are competent, professional and care deeply about doing the best job possible. Is this place 'cheap'? No, its not. You are paying for quality care and very niche expertise. When you come here its because your pet has a serious oral/dental issue that your regular vet can't correctly address. Your dog will have a vet whose trained for a very long time to do these uncommon procedures and to be taken care of by a very well trained staff of vet techs etc. If your pet needs this type of care, you love your pet and you can scrounge the funds together-- its WELL worth it! If you cant afford it however, thats completely understandable. There may be other options that work for you and your pet. But I really dont agree with those who think they are getting ripped off. Its like saying you are being ripped off when you're buying a BMW. There is a reason its expensive.
My baby had a really scary tooth removal/jaw surgery and Dr. Faigin did a beautiful job and his recovery has been pretty remarkable!

It's a nice place and the people are nice, but I decided not to proceed with the treatment because it was extremely expensive compared to other providers.

The folks here are AMAZING. My 3 year old cat Violet had to have a full mouth extraction and they walked me through the entire process and kept in touch with me throughout the procedure and took great care of her. They really care about what they do and all of them were so kind. I highly recommend this place

My 7 month old Labrador had to get a canine tooth shaved down a bit because he has a narrow bottom jaw and that tooth was going into his upper palette. They did an awesome job with him. The procedure occurred in the same day as the consultation, which made it super convenient as we don’t live closeby. The doctor called us during the time our puppy was there to update us. Our puppy came home the same day and recovered very quickly. They were so kind to call a few days later to see how he was doing!

I don't understand people leaving negative reviews because they're expensive. No one's forcing you to pay! I've had nothing, but a great experience here. The entire team from the front desk, CVT, to the dentist were all awesome, kind, and professional. We went in for a second opinion originally (the first was also from a board certified dentist at another place) honestly not thinking I'd schedule the procedure right away. However, Dr. Feigin took time to explain everything to me (sometimes multiple times) and kept me at ease. She kindly went over the options with both pros and cons and walked me through on a lot of things. The report they send home with you post op is very detailed too. The CVT, Kayla, was so nice and very good at explaining things too. They're a very good team. I am very particular when it come to care for my lab and I'm very glad to have done the procedures here. They may be a bit more expensive, but it's 1000% worth the extra money. Just like everything else, you get what you pay for.

I only went for consult. My dog has appointment after Christmas. I can tell you more after that appointment. They were very good as far as answering my questions etc. Very expensive. Most vets do not do extensive dental so they refer you to this place.

The practice is a group of very skilled veterinarians who do only dental work, starting with a consultation and treatment plan and then a dental CT scan and surgery which can takeup to 4 hours, followed by consultation 2 weeks later. It is expensive, but so worth It. My 13 year old pug had kidney issues as well as the usual pug breathing problems, and I chose the practice to give him the best chance to survive the anesthetic and procedure. They gave me an initial consultation date two months away. I left a message on their voicemail that I could be there in an hour if they had a cancellation and got in the next day. The shock of a possible range of $4-6k bill was lessened by reading another yelp review so I expected it to be expensive. There was a down payment and billing was done by the minutes of anesthesia and how many extractions were needed. The morning of surgery they had me bring my pet in early and showed him a lot of attention to decrease his anxiety. I returned shortly after he went in for the CT scan of his teeth under anesthesia, followed by the procedure, the total time under was 4 hours. The doctor came out to let me know how they were doing, the rationale for removing as many teeth as he did and why he left some, found two exposed roots that had been causing a lot of pain. Afterwards, my dog was a bit confused but alert and comfortable and his airway was clear, no coughing or hoarseness despite having been intubated. The mixture of meds given under anesthesia caused NO respiratory impairment postop. I got a folder of all the costs itemized, the medications used, color pictures of the teeth before and after, a dental chart, extensive post op instructions that the tech reviewed with me before we left and liquid pain medication with syringes in addition to a long acting narcotic and small amount of NSAID he was given at the end of the procedure. The doctor and I discussed the pain treatment options given his age and kidney function. The atmosphere was unhurried and peaceful. Two weeks later when we returned, the doctor put on lighted loupe glasses and checked from the dog's mouth to the dental chart on the computer, back and forth, to check the healing and stitches dissolving. My dog's personality postop returned to a happy, social one he had not enjoyed for years, running up to neighbors and enjoying their attention. When he developed a second episode of oral swelling today, I called the practice and was seen today, and a diagnosis of parotid gland abcess was made based on a careful exam by another practice physician who recommended an antibiotic and warm compresses and will see him in two weeks. I would not hesitate to bring a pet to this practice. I saw other dogs and cats in carriers. The cost of good care was about equal to several emergency visits with oral exams which were inadequate, with peace of mind that they do nothing but dentistry so they are amazing at it, and they offer payment option brochures.

We rescued a dog and found he had an open wound above his front teeth exposing the nasal cavity. Our local vet called around and no one nearby could offer assistance with this very difficult defect / injury so we were referred to VDS. Dr. Clayton and staff had also never seen anything like it before. He conferred with the staff and devised a plan to close the wound as well as some much needed dental work. After 2 surgeries the wound is now mostly healed and we hope it closes fully after healing a bit more. Can't say enough good things about our experience here from everyone and a big thank you for helping with a good result when no one else could.
