I have personally been involved with the NMLC sense I was young, and I have many fond memories of the time I have spent there. I attribute my interest in marine biology and the greater world around me to the NMLC, and having such a wonderful humanitarian organization nearby is truly an honor. It is important to note that the national marine life center is not supposed to be some sort of aquarium or museum, but rather a conservation and protection facility which nurses injured marine animals back to health, and then releases them when possible. The portion known as the discovery center is only there to spread awareness of the issues that face these creatures and educate the public, and in that regard it does an excellent job. I would like to recommend that anyone in the area pay a visit to the marine life center. Donations are always appreciated, and go a long way to assuring the continued existence of marine species native to the Buzzards Bay area.

Practical, factual displays of sea turtles. Made me want to adopt these incredibly needed sea creatures and donate locally to the center to protect them and their environment.

I absolutely loved their turtle adoption service! It made the perfect b-day gift for my father, and came with an adoption certificate, a photo of the rescued turtle, and a super cute plush toy. Love their mission!

I went to the NMLC with my Grandchildren and had a incredible visit. The efforts that were taken by the staff and organization to keep everyone safe was incredible. We couldn't have been treated any better. The kids loved it and we all appreciated the efforts taken to keep everyone safe.

Recently had my husband and granddaughters visit the discovery center and the All About Turtles outdoor classroom. Rave reviews from them when they came home. The knowledge level and friendliness of the staff was fabulous.

I went to check out the place and to see what it was about. I was accussed of trespassing....5 feet off the curb. Public space what information is displayed. What?? Shocked. I will never support this cause. Not the welcome I was expecting.

Great place to learn about marine life in New England. Especially like the knowledgeable staff who does a wonderful job caring for the animals and educating children through a variety of programs.
