I called for 30 seconds about a question about somrthing5 they offer on their website. Not only in that short phone call, did I get an attitude, they also don't accept the Mass Animal Fund voucher, like specified on their web page. Just from the attitude alone, I wasn't interested.

Do your dog a favor and go anywhere else! I have used this vet since 2010 and there have been a few issues over the years, however I am now moving all my dogs to a new Vet! they have no customer service skills, cannot communicate if their lives depended on it and the cranky, elderly staff have no patience or heart. Issues in prior years - cancelled appointments because the Doc goes on vacation last minute, cancelled for no reason/explanation, the office loves to muzzle the dogs, 2 of my 4, miss diagnose dogs, and given poor quality medications - only what they have in-house from them over using better quality from a pharmacy. Doc was behind his appointments and was rough with my dog, she nipped at him because of his treatment of her, he had be told she was a rescue and needed him to be patient and go slow (she was partly blind), he had the 1st few appointments, but the day he was running late he was horrible, I should have left then but gave him another chance since I looked at the behavior at all appointments not just that one. Hung up on multiple times when calling because the staff is old and does not know how to answer phones properly, constantly dropping the calls when putting on hold or answering more than one at a time. Issues this year - changing appointments and not telling clients until they show up (April 2021), performing surgery and making mistakes, mainly because the Doc has shaky hands (I noticed after the surgery unfortunately), my dog had to be rushed to urgent care because of his error and have another surgery, using poor quality medications that caused a minor ear infection to become a major one, rescheduled my dog twice and then when I showed up doing what they told me to (drugging my puppy), they did not see her, never left the waiting room. I have her records and going to the vet I set her spay appointment with, no way was shaky hands cutting into this puppy. yes puppy 1 year old puppy. The staff is so rude, especially the short older lady that likes to make up stories, maybe she is senile or all dogs look alike to her.

The staff are always great with my 2 pups. They really try to make them comfortable when they're nervous and always have a treat handy.

I have tried so hard to like this vet because he is close to my house. However, every time I go he is veryyy rude. The staff seems nice enough but the vet is just so rude I can't go there anymore. Maybe if you have a golden retriever he is nicer to you because he really likes them. All other pet owners he acts like he's doing you a favor just by being in the room. Do yourself and your pet a favor, find another vet who actually cares about all of his patients.
