I love the Y. It has become my third place (aside from work and home). The community is great, people are beautiful and the group classes are fun. It is within walking distance of my house, so I come every day. Thanks for all the great work!

The people at the front desk need to do better with relaying the correct information to members over the phone. This is the second time that I've tried to attend open gym with my son only to be disappointed because the gym is not available. Please stop putting people without people skills at the front desk. The young man who worked the front desk tonight was SMUG. This is not some elite country club. It's the Y dude. When a paying member has a grievance, make it better. Do not brush a paying member off with an arrogant "Have a nice day". On a more positive note Trisha and the young man that was working the gym tonight with the du-rag on are AWESOME. They listened and we chatted. Pay them more.

Huntington YMCA facility is cleaned and modern. Pool section in particular is well-taken care of and there always seem to have lanes opened for Lap swim, besides Swim lessons and other activities. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Solid gym to be certain. They lack some of the more advanced lifting/exercise equipment, SSB bars, bamboo bars, hip circle bands, etc, but they have the essentials. They do have a hex bar which is great. They recently expanded their stock of benches and squat racks, which was absolutely needed, but it was at the cost of turf space, so during rush times it’s impossible to do sled work. Finding a stand alone bench to do free weight work is tough during rush hour.Be aware this place is like 90 percent students, so it’s often filled with 20 something dudes, but coming in off peak certainly helps if you’re not wanting to wait or deal with noise. There are people who will take up the benches and squat racks for an entire workout. However, there is never an issue getting on cardio equipment. The steam and sauna are always hot and very nice, the pool is great too. Locker room is a bit outdated but they keep it clean.

Staff are not rude, the gym has a lot of variety, but not quantity, a los of diferent machines but only one or two so It's crowded most of the time, waiting for machines mid work out is uncomfortable, other than that is perfect

I wish I could give a better review but don't have great things to say :(. It is a very small space that is constantly overrun by children, clearly under 18 with no adult supervision (like 12-15 years old) who will use a squat rack for an hour in groups of 5-6 people... The space is relatively clean but a lot of cardio machines are constantly out of service and this place is practically unusable outside of work hours by the amount of people occupying the space. I also have been trying to cancel my membership for the past month which apparently you cannot do unless you go in person, although you can join online or via the phone. I have heard no response thus far and have been charged for membership even though not in the city to be able to cancel my membership. Update- it’s been 3 months (the entire summer) since I have tried to cancel my membership and they continue to be unresponsive and charge me:(

Kids are having a blast at camp. Excellent staff, supporting campers and I especially appreciate communication from the team to include my family in opportunities available this summer. Thank you!

Well for starters I’ve been a member at the YMCA going on 9 years, I of my great experience there are the group exercises my favorite one I miss the is “Strength and Train Together.” Is what they call it (most popular workout class there!) If they bring back that workout class that’s the only I come back to the gym consistently. Other than that I will continue to do what I do best to stay in shape.

This location has brought so much fun to my sons summer, I’m so happy to have access to a program like this for him! The staff are all very tentative and caring, making for a safe and fun environment. Thank you YMCA!

So many reasons that we love swim class at the Y.- small student teacher ratio- a good length of time in the pool- high quality instructionThe instructors strike a perfect balance of having joyous interactions with the children while still being skills focused! We have tried swim classes at many different institutions and find the Huntington YMCA to be the best!
