Established in 1988, the Writers’ Room provides both a workspace and a community for developing and established writers. We offer a great place to work, a quiet haven accessible 24x7 in the heart of downtown Boston, in which to create written work in all genres.
Beyond the workspace, the Room sponsors a monthly on-line Readings from the Room series featuring readers from our membership. We offer fellowships to writers of limited means. The Room offers discounts on writing-related software. We also promote writing opportunities and offer assistance to members when responding to grants and other requests for proposals.
