I did a load of laundry here and it came out of the dryer smelling metallically. When I brought this to the attention of the woman working there, I asked simply for a refund on quarters so I could re do the load myself. She immediately got confrontational and said no one else complained and that my laundry seemed clean to her. When I pushed, she accused me of lying to get a free load (even though she claimed it was already clean). She also continued to call mocking remarks at me as I left.

Unfortunately, the washing machine I chose to use must have been used for dying black clothing previously. I washed my white duvet comforter and white sheet with pillow case and a few light clothing items. The duvet cover and sheet were special ordered from Caspar bedding from the U.K. I had had them for a few years . They are my favourite sheets. Everything in this load came back stained with black streaks and black smudges-everything. I noticed it immediately upon taking the clothing out, but did not know it was so bad, and they were closing for the night. I expect the clothing is cleaned but the entire load was ruined. Very disappointing. I intend on calling the establishment as soon as possible. I am not sure what can be done.Julie Robinson

Dropped of a dress and suit, expected charges were $16.50 each. I kept my receipt. I was prepared to pay up front but was told to wait for pick up. By the time I picked it up the following week (on time) the woman working the window said the manager increased the price of a dress cleaning to $25 and showed me a marked up copy of the tag. The prices are clearly listed on the wall of the window for $16.50.I was not contacted about the price change prior to processing and the woman would not let me speak to the manager.

The woman was excellent! She took care of our laundry quickly, promptly and beautifully. She was a lifesaver.

Used today for washing and drying for my family during our road trip. Washed and dried everything within an hour and a quarter. 35 minutes for washing machines ($4.50) and 40 minutes for dryers ($4). Apart from detergent and fabric softener. Very kind staff. Advise.

Holy cow, the guy that runs the place before noon is a real piece of work. Confrontational, unpleasant, rude, I fear no longer in command of his cognitive faculties, and very, very angry. Wow, my words fail me. I simply and politely pointed out that he had given me an incorrect number of quarters for my $10. After enduring a tirade of nonsensical screaming, I was immensely grateful that the nice lady working there in the afternoon came in just right then. She managed to calm him down, and handled a truly unpleasant scene. My heartfelt advice is to do your laundry at a time when the old guy is not there.

Salvatore Lopilato Waterfront Laundry purchased the incorrect size scale from my company. Threatened to file a chargeback with his bank if he didn't receive a refund for his error. A refund was issued in advance, trusting he would return, which is not typical practice for our company. We are not a large corporation, but a small mom/pop. We do not have the funds like Amazon for these types of actions. The customer received his money back.
However, the return package is lost. He refuses to file a claim at the USPS store. We are not the ones that shipped it, nor th MFR who is waiting on the material so we can be refunded. The shipper has to be the one to file the claim. A report has been filed with the BBB to worn others about this company.

This place is THE WORST.As someone who has used this laundromat multiple times, I can guarantee you will get harassed by the woman who works here. Here are her favorite things to yell at customers for:- "DON'T PUT COMFORTERS IN THE MACHINE!" She yells this one at me every time I walk in, even though I've literally never brought a comforter. Chill. Out. - "DON'T SLAM THE DOOR!" If you close a machine door too loudly in her presence, it seems to trigger her. Last, but not least, you can be sure she'll give you attitude if you want to convert any bill above a $10 into quarters. She will physically go check to see if you're doing laundry before giving you the quarters. She's asked me why I need $20 of quarters before multiple times. Some quick math for you: this place is currently $9 to wash and dry 1 load. 2 loads of laundry is therefore $18, which is awfully close to $20. If she's so worried about people asking for quarters they don't intend to use at the laundromat, here are the options: (1) lower the prices, (2) install credit card machines, or (3) stop giving customers shade for asking for $20 worth of quarters. Simple. In summary, avoid this place at all costs. It's not worth the mental trauma of this woman.

Have used the next day wash and fold service twice while in Boston on holiday with family of five. Very happy with the service, very straightforward with prices and times communicated clearly up front.

I've been going here for the two years I've lived nearby, but will look into going elsewhere. The man who runs the place feels the need to judge the way I do laundry, never failing recently to tell me I'm "wasting my money" by doing multiple loads. Besides the strangeness of a man who runs a laundromat thinking it's okay to wash everything in one load, he comes across super rude - especially considering the money's going into his own pocket! Also, the machines got changed several months ago - prices shot up and my clothes seem to come out worse.

This is the best launramt in the North End despite the one bad review last week. Which, by the way was the customers doing by overloading the machine. Her pant leg was hanging out which caused the machine to beak Caused the owner a major repair bill.

Extremely rude owner who screams at customers when the machines broken- staff is unhelpful with issues with the machines, they just put you on the phone with the owner who offers no solutions and screams and swears at customers. Terrible customer service here. Take your business elsewhere

TAKE YOUR BUSINESS LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE. Accidentally got the washer door caught on my pant leg and the machine broke and wouldn't pause. The woman working and the owner were telling me that the machine doesn't pause despite there being a button that said pause on the machine, and the fact that a washing machine that doesn't pause is a safety hazard. Now all my clothes are ruined and to make matters worse, the owner got on the phone and started screaming at me for no reason! I had not even asked to speak to the owner and when I did was met with just swearing and screaming. Left stressed and traumatized. There are plenty of laundromats in the North end. Go literally anywhere else.

When the staff isn't condescending, they're rude, when they're not rude, they're aggressive. I have NEVER had a worse experience with staff at a small business like this.I will be washing my clothes in the Charles and leaving them to dry hanging off the Orange Line before I ever go here again.
