Our community deserves a better pharmacy. the pharmacist on today has historically been one that does not display professionalis, does not acknowledge the presence of people when they are at the window and he has spread this behavior amongst many of the technicians there. Sean and another young man there are very polite and professional. Even though you will get notifications that your medications are ready for pick up via the automated system that calls you, when you walk in to the pharmacy less than 50 percent of the time I have found that the medication(s) was not actually ready. They are not empathetic in how they address concerns as I have heard several patients complaints over the last few months and it seems to be declining versus improving. This Walgreens is horrible!

Do not recommend just like everything else in this plaza! They don't ever have anything. Your photos are never ready on time and finding an employee to actually work is like pulling teeth Their pharmacy is incompetent Their greeting card section is bare as heck

Do not use the pharmacy at this store, unless you do not mind waiting a long time for your medication. Dropped off my prescription on a Friday, told the medication would be ready Monday. I could not go until Tuesday, but it was still not ready. Did not get the prescription filled until 2 days later, almost ran out of medication. Plus this pharmacy always have a long line, due to inadequate staff.

I got my Covid booster shots there. They have quick appointments to book usually but expect a long wait (45-1hr). With that being said look for a guy named Mike to give you your shots. He's so nice, very caring, attentive, and charismatic. And he gives the shots well so it doesn't hurt which is saying something from me because I always have severe pain when I get shots. Also look for a woman named Arcadia when you're checking out of the general store. She's very sweet and she has a lot of patience and she's pretty funny too. These two people make the store.

PLEASE avoid this Walgreens' pharmacy. My doctor called in a prescription for me on 11/4 and after long wait times on hold with no one answering, having someone go to store to be told they are 3wks behind on filling orders. Then my doctor tried to switch to a different pharmacy, but not being able to switch pharmacies because they already charged my insurance I have been without medication. I've called and complained twice to cooperate and still waiting for a return call from them. IF YOU NEED YOU MEDICATION URGENTLY PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO GET IT FILLED HERE! They are taking orders just to bill your insurance company for the money and taking their sweet time filling the orders! DONT ALLOW THEM TO PLAY WITH YOUR HEALTH! Walgreens needs to stop taking on more than they can handle and maybe just have certain Walgreens with pharmacies and all the pharmacists work at those locations to get orders filled in a timely manner! Today 11/9 I was finally able to get my prescription and the pharmacist had the nerve to say to me it's not ready but since you are the only one here I will fill it right now! Like he was doing me a favor instead of doing his damn job! And my prescription was dated as 11/4 like it had been waiting on me! BS!!!

Terrible customer service ! I have had several issues with this pharmacy and will be switching. They often do not have my rx ready when they say they do, I have waited for over 15 minutes at the drive through , with employees refusing to speak to me or make eye contact with me, went inside and someone said \\\" oh yeah you must have been in that red car\\\". They have been out of my medication for days, promised to have it today , attempting to call as I have heard nothing , was hung up on the first time, currently have been on hold for 15 minutes , they pick up without saying anything every few minutes and place me on hold again.

Got my COVID and flu shots here, Yvonna was fantastic and super efficient . The whole process was so quick and swift with the pharmacy check in. The pharmacy looks renovated and very spacious. They're very kind. I'm very very pleased.

This pharmacy is a JOKE!!!!!I don't even know why or how they're even still open!The place always looks in shambles, filthy.... Most "quality" Products you need are always locked up due to shoplifters I don't understand why they even have a drive thru pharmacy when no one tends to it and they have you sitting out there forever (IF they decide to ever come to the window)THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!!!! I've left pissed off every single time!!!!! Poor customer service. It never fails!!!Hence why I transferred all my meds to the CVS in Roslindale. There, they're friendly, courteous and have meds you need in stock. Smh This Walgreens pharmacy really needs to step it up. It's ridiculous and they should be ashamed serving the community in that manner

Pick up window always closed and they never answer their phone in the pharmacy. During these times of Covid I'm surprised that they aren't managing social distancing practices better. The p/u window being open really supports patients who cannot or should not be in contact with the public due to such a high risk. Please do better as this is my neighborhood pharmacy. The pick up windows are crucial to help decrease the spread of this dangerous virus in our neighborhoods.

This Walgreens is so ridiculous. I waited in line for 45 min. After that I decided to leave and call. I was on the phone for ONE HOUR 25 min!!!! I think it absolutely ridiculous to have people on hold that long. It's inconsiderate! I will be changing pharmacies.

Sooooo slow. There are not enough pharmacists to handle the volume of customers??? I am trying to see if my script is ready....been waiting on the phone 15 mins and my call was dropped! Omg!! I suspect if I drive over there the wait will be an additional 30 mins. Once I get this script I will be changing pharmacies. I can't. I deserve better.

This has been my go-to walgreens for years now. They're really nice and always very helpful when i have a question. Once they didn't have my medication in stock and they made sure they found a way for me to have it. This is the best walgreens pharmacy in hyde park tbh!

Where do I begin? Not only did Walgreens cancel my mother's prescription plan with no notification and then tell her she would have to pay $3000 for it which she couldn't do so she had to get a new prescription plan and wait weeks, then today they did not fill my prescription at all. Just left it sitting without any notification that anything further needed to be done. Prescription was sent 5 days ago. Insurance needed and authorization from my Dr to fill the script which Walgreens chose to send to my Dr today, Sunday, when it's closed even though they knew on Tuesday they needed it. THEN after I asked why I wasn't notified and why my Dr wasn't contacted until I came to pick it up, all of a sudden they see a note she was notified on Tuesday but when I ask to see the note the pharmacist, Canaan K. comes out and no note is ever presented. Then he jokes about how I can just pay the $123 for it if I'm "that desperate" or I can just wait for my insurance and laughs. I'm glad to know they think people's healthcare is a joke. It is very clear that I need to take my business elsewhere. When you're dealing with people's health services you need to be both diligent and understanding. The fact that they saw there was an issue and just ignored it and gave me no chance to remedy it, nor my mother in her situation, shows a complete lack of care which is something very unfortunate for someone in the healthCARE business.
