Bought a shirt, and they didn't have the size I needed, so shipped a bigger size from another store. It arrived with a big hole, which is beyond frustrating/unethical. We were so excited to get a new shirt. Now I have to figure a way to return it and there's no packing info or way to return it easily.

My closet is filled with lovelies from Viola Lovely. The Wenham store being the larger. Boston store being convenient. It’s such a wonderfully curated collection of beautiful fabrics, cool styles, and the accessories are unique & interesting pieces.Best part - staff are knowledgeable, warm and fun.

I love shopping at Viola Lovely. They have a wonderful selection of fashionable clothes and they have great shoes. I like most of the designers they carry. I like extras they carry like the magazine's and soaps. They also carry gorgeous hand bags. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

An incredible selection of high end designers like Ryan Roche, MNZ, Matteau, and plenty of emerging names they will introduce you too! Super friendly and helpful staff, I always love browsing through...

I try not to throw around five stars unless a store truly exceeds expectations in either selection or customer service. Viola Lovely excels in both. The store can seem intimidating and uninviting on a first visit. Fortunately the sales associate immediately came over and explained the carefully curated selection of items. The store carries brands that I have not otherwise seen in Boston - MNZ, Lemaire, Agmes, Sophie Buhai, Alumnae, Clegerie to name a few. The vibe is understated chic, and the store excels in its attempt at going for the subdued Parisienne look. Every piece has a story and the sales associates have been carefully trained to relay the story. They know about every brand and have a unique eye and can pair things together in unique ways. Sneaker heads rejoice - the store carries fun and unique pairs of Golden Goose sneakers. The owner seems to have quite a following and maintains three different stores in the greater Boston area. They do not maintain an online presence so the only way to keep apprised of new arrivals is to either stop by or become acquaintances with a sales associate.

Sales Associate was quite rude. In such a small boutique, it only makes sense to greet all customers. I was going in to purchase an item that was close to $1,000, but I couldn't bring myself to buy anything from a store that doesn't appear to appreciate my business. Associate never asked if she could help. Walked by me more than twice.

I actually got inspired to go find this store by a lady I met yesterday who just so cool! She had on these great cowboy-ish boots, nice jeans, a black top, and these wonderful earrings with moonstones and then little diamonds hugging the earlobes . She told me she had gotten the boots, jeans, and earrings at Viola Lovely, so I just had to check it out. I stopped by the store today, and was very impressed. There is a fair amount of merchandise, and one gets the impression it was carefully curated, like an art gallery for clothing. It is a very welcoming store though. I bought some boots which I got stretched a little , and I was very comfy on the couch, drinking espresso and reading coffee table books while I waited. I could have hung out all day! The owner is very friendly and down to earth as well. I recommend this store. You will find things here that you won't find anywhere else!

Love this store. Love the designers and how shop is curated. The owners and staff are super nice and helpful. They know the clothes and are ready to help suggest and style if you want yet are low key and friendly. They also let my dog shop around : ) -- love this place!

This is one of my favorite places in Boston to shop. While it is true I can not fit into most of their clothes I occasionally can find some great items. They also carry great bags, shoes, scarves etc

Surprised they still alive with the customer service they provide.!! Have been in the store bunch of times every time there is a new person works not sure what's happening with the stuff, all young and snobby, unless you pick up Jerome Dreyfuss bag than someone will pay attention to you. Last time was in the girl was sitting in back surfing the web without even noticing me. There is no energy in the shop, selection is good but they clearly need to buy larger inventory as the sizes are limited. And better train your sales stuff no one wants be ignored or treated badly.

When I heard about a new store opening on Washington Street, I was thrilled. The original opening was scheduled for Spring 2013 but was delayed until August and by then, I never seemed to be around during its business hours. At errand this past Saturday finally had me in the neighborhood when it was open and it is, without a doubt, my favorite boutique in Boston. I LOVE that they chose not to open on Newbury or Charles Street; keeps it special and sought-after. It's the kind of place that makes you want to grab a coffee, hunker down on the couch and spend the next several hours pouring over beautiful scarves, well-made boots and bags, and an exceptionally well-curated selection of beautiful clothing. I was impressed to see some designers I had never heard of but also happy to see some names I was familiar with but that are not yet "mainstream." The owner was lovely and helpful without being overbearing and aggressive. She took the time to get to know me and my style, which I appreciate. I look forward to frequenting this boutique more in the future. Welcome to the neighborhood!
