Paul is extremely helpful and friendly. Randomly ran across this shop when visiting Boston. They also sell men’s clothing. Purchased a Brioni sports coat which is great.

Super chic boutique with a selection of incredibly well kept designer items. The staff is kind and helpful in providing assistance while shopping! Some folks left reviews complaining about limited capacity and being followed around. This is a VERY high end consignment shop and they WANT you to have a tailored experience! Don’t go in to just “browse” if you aren’t prepared *emotionally* for the prices of luxury retail. It’s a wonderful store and I will most certainly be going back!

I wish there were 10 stars - our experience was that good! Heli and Paul are wonderful people. My family came home with lots of beautiful items. The store is a treasure trove. They don’t let the shop get crowded, they help when asked and it is a lovely place to visit. We will be back!

Can I give 0 stars for this review? The older gentleman, who I assume is one of the owners, was being very catty to customers, seemingly without thinking they noticed his poor behavior. This is not a good space to browse as there is always someone following you too closely to actually enjoy the experience. There are much more friendly and welcoming shops nearby in which I would rather spend my money.

The owner of this store was incredibly rude when I went in to consign items. I don't think I have been treated as terribly as I was in years, with my items shoved back at me when I said I only wanted to consign one of them. Based on previous reviews, this behavior is not out of the ordinary and I would recommend going elsewhere to be treated with any modicum of respect.

The man working yesterday afternoon declined to let three of us enter the store because he had *one customer inside - and presumably couldn’t handle any more customers?
It’s a retail store on a busy street in Boston - handling multiple customers is the expectation. If they’re not capable of having multiple people browsing at once, perhaps retail is not the right fit. Maybe they need to switch to an appt only model. At the very least some signage on the door may help alleviate any annoyance of their potential customers.

Chic vintage store with high end brands.
It shows that the owner has a wonderful taste and offers high quality items.

Was followed everywhere through the store, even as I walked out even though I was one of three customers there. Insulting to say the least. Also having a doorbell to ring to even get in? Really? Mens selection was thin and overpriced. Definitely not one of the more welcoming stores on this street.

Do not listen to any of the negative reviews about this store! The two owners of this shop are absolutely delightful people. They are always willing to help you pick out the perfect piece to suit your needs and body type. Prices are always negotiable and fair. Everytime my wife and I travel to Boston this is one of our first stops!! Do yourself a favor and visit this wonderful store in beautiful Beacon Hill

Ha! Walked in and the girl, couldn’t even lift her head from her phone to acknowledge a patron. Whomever the owner is…you won’t have many sales while she’s on her shift. She’s more concerned with her phone. She should go work at TMobile.

Beautiful selection of high end brands, tasteful and nicely laid out. I loved a jacket but was over my budget, all I had to do is ask for a discount. They did!!! I'm very happy with my purchase and good customer service I received.

Great experience shopping at Vintage Taste. The husband and wife team are terrific. A must stop and shop for your high-end pieces.

Great products, but very lackluster service. Have been turned away the past three visits because staff wanted to limit store capacity to five shoppers. Inappropriate and weird and doesn’t really fit the market in Beacon Hill. There are many great places to buy awesome vintage products and it is not worth the awkwardness and customer profiling.

I was followed around nonstop and constantly asked if I needed help. I just had to leave. Will never return.
