Convenient location in the financial district. The entrance looks cool, and the inside is spacious. It was surprisingly empty at lunch time (I assumed people would go during their lunch breaks, but I guess not). The staff were friendly and efficient. No complaints.

It is a public outrage that this post office is allowed to operate as a United States Postal Service office. The office itself is not maintained. It is filthy. One of the front doors has been broken and blocked by a trash can for months. The indoor self-service mail deposit box has also been broken on and off for months. The self-service stamp purchase machine has also been non-functional for months. Today, they would not take credit or debit cards, create money orders, or do passports. And of course, they are completely incapable of performing the basic USPS function of mail delivery. For about the tenth time this year, I ordered a package with priority mail or priority express mail, and not only was the package not delivered on time, it was not delivered at all, was incorrectly marked as delivered, and the customer service postal employee who refused to provide his name was incredible in all the worst ways. My visit could have been a skit show lampooning poor service, but no, the employee there today (11/24/2023) was real in his unprofessionalism and merely could advise that the package was not delivered. No effort at explanation or apology or even to try to locate it. Just, "It should have been delivered three days ago and we are still sorting mail in the back at 4:30 pm on a Friday (and close at 6pm), so you are out of luck. My box is cancelled. I strongly advise staying away from this office if you want your mail treated with professionalism. I will be following up with calls and letters to the Congressional reps for my district advising them of this waste of taxpayer money and encouraging an investigation into what appears to me to be, at best, criminal negligence.

Frustrating experience with fingerprinting. I arrived within passport hours, and apparently there is only one person who does fingerprinting and they weren’t there. I had tried to call ahead but no one picked up. Really wish I’d known that before traveling 1.5 hours to one of the few locations with this service. Beautiful job USPS.

I never had a problem here until lately the last two times trying to ship a package the lady behind the counter did nothing but deny me the service, not even tried to help me find a solution, she’s so slow and talks to other people while you’re waiting for her to pay attention.I had to go to the other usps nearby and they were so nice and effective, just go to the other one don’t waist your time and energy.

If there is such thing as a black "Karen", it's here. (Think beat up, low rent Whoopi looking type who thinks she's a victim of life) She works behind the counter, is completely ignorant and averse to actually working. (Getting a stamp for me, placing it on an envelope and into an outgoing bin was something else today) I felt the brunt of her misguided rage/racism and it reflects so poorly on herself and the post office I'd rather take my postal needs elsewhere. Completely disrespectful. Oprah is not amused girlfriend.

I have tread the marbled floors of countless post offices, from hamlets tucked away in sleepy corners of the country to bustling urban nerve centers, and my experiences have been nothing less than passable. So never before had I deemed it necessary to peruse the reviews of a post office. How I wish I had defied that assumption before I dared to cross the threshold of this woeful place! This post office starkly deviated from this norm - a malignant anomaly in an otherwise relatively professional network. Mailing a mere package from this particular branch became a feat tantamount to ascending Everest in flip-flops. For I, like other reviewers here (and the other benighted souls standing in line that day) was subjected to an assault of discourtesy and a lamentable lack of efficiency that has sadly become the hallmark of this establishment. It appears there is a chief architect of this misery, and perhaps the five star reviews here are by lucky individuals who avoided this person. On that ill-fated day, this dour individual was the lone beacon of service, while in the back, a spectral presence lurked, contributing nothing to alleviate the swelling tide of discontent. The entire establishment is mired in a state of disrepair that is jarringly discordant with its prime downtown location. It's a sordid patchwork of neglect and disarray, exuding an air of mismanagement that is palpable from the moment one steps through its begrudging doors. Therefore, it is with a heavy heart and a sense of duty that I implore you, fellow patrons of this postal network: Beware. I remain confounded by how this particular branch stands as a shocking exception amidst the common tide of professional and courteous service we have come to expect. I speak not from a place of scorn but out of a fervent desire for reform and a return to the service standard that we all deserve. For example, the North End branch is smaller, mire crowded, & has less staff, but it has been a pleasure to use.
