Booked a passport appointment online. Approved on time and after waiting in line for a few minutes I asked the large female associate with glasses at the desk if the passport appointments are done at the door to the side of the desk. She rudely said yes but she’s not here she’s on vacation. Then I asked who can do the passport she said nobody, rudely again. I don’t know why people at this location are so rude and why there is only ONE passport appointment. No one called to say the passport person was on vacation. They’ve called me before asking me to come earlier for a previous passport so why was communication not done now for booked appointments? Ridiculous and unprofessional.

Understaffed but very informative. No longer doing passport walk ins so schedule and appointment save the time.

Going Out one clerk. Working the front desk as a register. I don't wanna manage her. It's basically 3 people running a place.

Barely picks up the phone and the delivery people don't follow instructions. I don't understand why it's so hard to ring a doorbell. I'm just supposed to magically know you're outside... Ridiculous

My mail sometimes comes up missing and when I call to talk to someone, I get a recorded message from USPS. MY mail is important!

Their is only one person working the blue door with over 20 ppl in the lobby in the mattapan post office.Unacceptable. This would not be tolerated in the white people area. Get it together.

The whole week Lobby never opens @7:00 AM. Even after 8:15 AM , the post office is still closed no access the lobby.

Worse post office ever! The customer service was terrible. Got there 5 mins before closing and the lady working was acting like security telling people they can’t come in. If the hours are 9 to 1 then you should be able to take customers until 1:00pm! I understand she probably wanted to get off work but that’s your job . While being in there she was arguing with other customers telling them they don’t have enough time to send their mail. terrible terrible terrible

Every time I come to this location there is more than 15 people waiting in line. Today was 22 including myself. 2 postal workers working, including passports which seem to take substantial time and for the worker to take these people and make others wait for these ridiculously long times is just horrible customer service. What is the USPS doing to help this location and its community.
