AU-Save puerto rico is an avoid at all costs. Couldn't believe they had close to 9 stars on priceline.Priceline listed them as an airport rental so I got an uber to the airport and enter the car rental area. No U-Save. I look at my confirmation and they say to call and they will pick me up. Took forever for them to arrive.Other shuttles passed through 3x before my shuttle arrived. They will nickle and dime for toll fees and addition to fraudulent scratch claims.DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING WITHOUT DOCUMENTATION. They have an electronic sign pad and the guy will say sign here to show you picked up the vehicle and on return they will say sign here to show you delivered the vehicle. In my email they claim I agreed that the car was in the condition before pickup and after pickup that they claim. They never said this at all. ASK FOR WHAT YOU ARE SIGNING AND READ THE FINE PRINT. YOU WILL BE CHARGED. My 290 dollar rental turned into an 880 dollar bill for 9 days rental.I'm pretty sure you aren't allowed to tell someone to electronically sign something and claim they signed for a reason other than what was stated. They give you no paperwork at all. They said I had an incident when I did not. I very minor scratch on the car, that I believe was there before I left. I took pics of numerous scratches on the car that were not highlighted yet they claim there was a new one.Pictures are so terrible scratch can not even be seen. They charged me 500 dollars for something I did not do. If my credit card doesn't side with me I will see if it is worth it for an attorney. If an attorney reads these and wants to go for a class action lawsuit I am happy to tell how they lied, provide the pictures and also describe how they fraudulently claim you signed something stating an event that you never read. steve 434.426.1837

False advertisement, they offered me a car for $5.99 per day, after I took the bite and at my arrival got a big surprise!!I was forced to take their liability insurance and they are so well prepared that they have a price menu from $26.00 to $56.00 per day depending on how scared you are, then the proceed with other charges like, cleaning fees, local taxes, fuel etc. They provided me with a car that wasn’t properly served on clean. When I realized that I received a vehicle with a flat tire they replaced the tire for the spare and never fixed the actual tire.Extremely bad services.

Worst car rental experience ever This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had with a car rental company. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS. I tried to pick up a car at Los Angeles Airport. Thir office is located inside the Four Point Sheraton. Although I have car insurance from work, my personal car insurance policy and also covered by my Visa card, they insisted that I should pay an extra $27 per day for insurance that I do not need. Clearly, they advertise lower rates to get you in the door and then it's classic bait and switch. They are a bunch of crooks.

I Called U-Save few minutes ago, after calling enterprise rental. Enterprise quoted me for the month 714.75 unlimited miles for an Altima car. U-Save car rental their name is a crock of crap should be changed to U-Spend more auto rental. They quoted me on the same car for the month with only 100 miles a day $831.26 Sounds to me they R thieves

Want to know the best way to quickly ruin a weekend getaway/vacation? Rent from this company. Quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had with a rental car company. Hidden fees galore. NO customer service or appreciation. Their "Unlimited Miles" promise is a complete scam. I've never been more nickle and dimed in my life, and that's saying something for someone who has lived in Boston. Sometimes it's nice to pay a little extra to support local businesses over the chain companies like Hertz and Enterprise, but in this case you need to heed my words and stay away from "U-Save" (yeah right...) Car and Truck Rental like the bubonic plague.

Nightmare. Stay far, far away. Hidden fees, dishonest quoting, and no customer support. First, they gave me the wrong vehicle. Then, even though I showed them the type of vehicle I booked, they showed me some fine print in the subtext that read, "Vehicle type not guaranteed". I was attempting to rent a multi-passenger vehicle for a field trip I was organizing. I ended up with a smaller van and having to recruit two chaperones to take the kids that couldn't fit. They promised me I could return my vehicle at 5PM on a Sunday. When I got there, nobody there. I waited for 2 hours, nobody came, then when I came back the next day they charged me for an extra day... and charged me another full day for parking (I left my car in their lot). When I said I attempted to return the vehicle on time but that nobody was there, they said, "Sorry, not my problem." Ridiculous and cruel! They also charge you more if you book them off of Expedia, just be aware. Evidently there's some contract language that allows them to do that. "Ripoff" doesn't even begin to describe this company. You've been warned.

I am the leader of a local Boy Scout Troop. We rented a 15-passenger van from USAVE auto rental. We picked up the vehicle and returned it to a local satellite location in Framingham. Two days after I returned it, I got a bill for $110 which accounted for the repair of two chips in the windshield. Knowing I left the vehicle totally clean, with a full tank of gas, and no damage, I called to inquire about the charge. The only person who deals with 'damage" had just left and no one else could help me. I left my name/number but no one called me back. When I called back in the middle of the day, I was told again that the only person who can deal with "damage" had just left. I could tell they were avoiding me, so I decided to look up reviews for this company. I should have done this before, because there were a ton of reviews on Yelp and other locations that specifically claim they did the same thing to them. I sent emails to the major news networks in hopes they would run this story in their "investigates" segment. If they are not publically exposed, they will keep doing this. Clearly they don't care because of all of the negative reviews.

Its been months since I returned a car that I rented over there and till now they never release the deposit. They told me it would take 7 to 10 business days to have it back, after 2weeks every time I contacted they tell me they will process the refund and it should take 24 to 48hr to have it on my account. I don’t if they purposely do that cause I never get the money back, Now they rarely pick up the phone. For sure they will give you a good deal but you won’t get the deposit back.

This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had with a car rental company. Stay away if at all possible. After a weekend trip to Maine, we returned the car with a full tank of gas and no damage (with pictures to prove it). However, we were told the next day that there was a crack in the windshield. When we asked for evidence, we were given none. We did not even receive a picture of the alleged damage because the crack was "invisible." All they did was send us a quote for the supposed damage; we weren't even allowed to come see the car. We were then charged $750 to replace the windshield that we had photographic evidence was not damaged, and we were not even allowed to dispute it. These people are a bunch of scam artists, stay away.
