Did not had any issues, it was an easy set up (pick up and drop off) and very friendly client facing personal.Don't recall the name but the worker who helped was friendly and open to answer all of my questions, explaining all of the options if I might not be back by closing hours.Update:I ended up coming back after hours and did the process of returning the truck through the app and left the keys in the uhaul box.

1. The location did not provide a dolly which was reserved at the time of booking. When called customer support about it the best that could do was provide with $7 refund. But The question isn't about 7 dollars it's about all the inconvenience that was faced during move-in/moveout. Highly disappointed.2. The vehicle photos in the app didn't match with the vehicle provided. When I tried to update the photos, the app logged me out. And when logged in again, it showed that trip has already started and I wasn't able to upload the photos.3. Lots of problems with the vehicle: Parking break lever was tilted on the bottom. The van was showing working like "need to replace engine oil" and something about service type and tire pressure. The right rear blinker wasn't working. THE MIRROR WAS FIXED BY DUCT TAPE!!4. Even after calling customer support and getting assurance of not being charged for dolly, I was charged for it. I had to call again in order to get the charges removed.5. The fuel at the time of collecting the van, was very very low. I don't mind refueling and returning the tank at the level it was but provide the vehicle at least with 1 of the 4 bars.My roommate booked a home depot van. When I rode it, it was much more comfortable. They also provided a complementary dolly (they do it for every booking!) and also the customer service was great. They open at 6 am, close at 8pm. + you can return the vehicle till 10PM as customer support staff in available till 10PM. I would prefer home depot rental any time in the future. Cherry on the cake, THEY PROVIDE UNLIMITED MILES AT NO EXTRA CHARGES!!

So their online reservation said there was a truck available, and now they want me to switch me from Jamaica Plain to Saugus, Bedford or New Hampshire. Really? Fix your website and availability for the vehicles. First problem with U-HAUL. Won't use them again.

Andrew gave the best & fastest Uhaul experience I've ever had. He is also a very pleasant person. I recommend using this dealer if you are in the neighborhood. It's also conveniently located around the corner from Jackson Square Station.

DON'T rely on the app or website to secure your reservation. They didn't reserve a truck at all for me and I found this out the day before I moved. I had to call their 1-800 number and they reserved me a truck at another location which is no where near i live. thank god i called the day before. totally screwed me over. i never write bad reviews but this was extremely inconvenient & unprofessional. If i didnt call the day before i would have been out of luck and this was my only day to move that i wasnt working. NOT OKAY.

These guys seemed nice enough BUT... They charged me $4,756 claiming that I traveled 3,168 miles in 7 hours... I'd have to be going around 465 mph for 7 hours straight IN A U-HAUL to hit that. I'm sure this was a mistake but now it has hit my bank and now I'm responsible for bank fees. THIS SUCKS. And they didn't call me to let me know about this mistake (if it WAS a mistake) or anything! I just see the receipt and Bam. It hits my bank. Had to call u-haul directly to resolve this. I mean how do you make a mistake like this. And especially How do you not at least call the customer to let them know what happened?! This is causing me a ton of trouble. Having to make multiple calls to try and fix someone else's HUGE mistake. Calls that I really don't have time for. All because I rented au-haul here -_- horrible.

Picked up a Uhaul this weekend. Brand new truck and super helpful team supporting the Uhaul operation at the garage. They made the pickup and drop off incredibly seamless, and with the customer service they provided, and the location being close to my house, this will definitely be a place I'll be back to.

This is my new favorite place to rent small trucks which I do frequently for family business. Despite the urban location it's a good-sized lot so it feels safe to get in and out of the lot without getting dinged. (Boston is another story!) My brother-in-law was really surprised by the customer service. He's from out of town and actually said "I didn't expect that from a u-haul on the east coast." I wasn't surprised at all. My first interaction with the business was a chance encounter. I was waiting for a bus a little way down the road and an employee walked up and asked if I needed help. When I said no, he pointed out that the bus no longer stopped there. Wow. Talk about going out of your way and making your business look genuinely good! On my most recent rental, we worked with Justin and this is obviously a long-running family business he takes great pride in. We interacted with other employees as well who were very positive and professional. One thing we thought was really great was how the manager came out and helped validate/adjust our rear view mirrors, walked us through all the steps to getting ready that are easy to forget when you're in a rush to get on the road, but he did it in such a friendly way, it never felt like a waste of time, more like he just really cared about his business and us getting on our way safely. It didn't stop there, he gave us advice on a better place to leave our car, and left us feeling he wanted us to take his advice, not because it helped him in any way, but because he knew it would be easier and safer for us. That's probably never happened to me on the east coast. At least not at a rental place that often just wants you out of the way. For those who were confused and frustrated by u-haul's pricing, it's really pretty straight-forward. True, multi-day rentals get expensive, but for young people to expect someone is going to just "give them a break" and count a second day for free, that's just not the way I've ever seen these things work. So I'm sure there was some misunderstanding. Bottom line: great family run business that is aware of the big-picture around being genuine, and providing customer service so you can get what you need to done safely.

No complaints here. Came early, dropped off early. Price was accurate. Guy at the register was kinda cool, not rude.

I've lived in a city for the past six years, and I've moved apartments a lot. Before that, I stored stuff from my college dorms and apartments over the summer, and used Uhaul trucks for move-ins and move-outs. I've used Uhaul probably 8-10 times in the last decade. But my most recent experience with them was so bad, I will never, ever used a UHaul again. In a nutshell, we were moving from one town to a neighboring town, and we had to move in and move out on different days. When I made the reservation online, I believe I requested that we pick up the truck at 8am and return truck at 5pm the following day. A month later, our contract says we have 24 hours and have to return the truck by 8am, which would obviously be impossible given our moving constraints. We told the Uhaul employee that we wanted to return it in the afternoon on the second day. He said that would be fine. The fee was a flat rate. Now, being generous here, maybe there was some sort of innocent miscommunication, on our part or theirs. Maybe the employee didnt hear or understand us. Maybe he forgot to mention the extra fee. Maybe we weren't as clear as we thought. Regardless, we believed we had permission to keep the truck passed 8am. So when we returned it midday (approx. 1pm), and we were given a late fee of about $50, we were surprised. The really bad experience, though, comes in how Uhaul employees treated us when we questioned the late fee. Throughout the entire complaint process, they were incredibly rude--to the point of meanness, treating us like we were liars, trying to swindle them out of $50 bucks. At one point one employee actually walked away while we were still speaking to him. We were yelled at, shuffled around from manager to manager, had our official complaint "closed" and marked as "resolved" when we'd spoken to none one, only gotten a voicemail. It's one thing to ultimately refuse to refund the late fee, but they did not have to treat us so poorly. That's why they've lost our business.
