Fantastic place! A shopkeeper in Salem actually told us about it and we came the next day. Quick, efficient, good food, great ambience. People of all ages were here though it seems to trend towards a younger crowd. The only issue was noise level but everyone was HAPPY so it balanced out.

cold brew OK, huevos rancheros though… SO satisfying!!! will return, despite the cramped bartop seating.
Trident Booksellers & Café opened in 1984 and has since expanded from a small bookstore café to a full-service restaurant with two dining rooms, plenty of patio seating, and two floors of books. Located on Newbury Street in historic Back Bay, Trident is the last general independent bookstore in Boston proper. Menu favorites are the Lemon Ricotta Stuffed French Toast, Vegan Cashew Chili, and Deluxe Grilled Cheese. We also have a full espresso bar, a large selection of loose leaf teas, beer & wine, and fresh juices and smoothies.
