a couple of years ago, my daughter encouraged me to sign up for blowouts with this store. she paid for the first one. after the first appointment I signed up for a series of blowouts for approx. $365 and I should have known then what I was going to face, they charged me - essentially charged twice for one service. a bit later I tried to book appointments and was rebuffed. could not get an appointment. I begged and begged and finally got an appointment for my hair before a wedding. when it came time for using my subscription, the technician said he did not work under the subscription, so I paid, again paying TWICE for one service. since then I have tried and tried to get a refund. the owner was supposed to call, I have been ignored and rebuffed many times. my next step is to report with the BBB and the state licensing board, it may not get anywhere but I have had it . beware of this place and the owner knows all about this practice.

Natasha Chrisa Manolagas did an AMAZING job on a fabulous and difficult, elegant, retro updo for a black tie event. I have short curly hair and am in my forties and have never had any stylist be able to do this kind of style and make it look natural and clean. She is also incredibly pleasant and eager to please and be flexible. Highly recommend Natasha and I will return to her for sure.

Natasha gave me a beautiful curly hair cut, showed me how to style it, and sent me home with 2 products that are better than the dozens I had tried on my own. Will be going back regularly. Highly recommend!

I walked in today, having never been here before, and Natasha gave me a fantastic dry cut! She listened and understood what I was hoping for and was meticulous and patient with my very thick, coarse hair. I love the results! She is a true artist! I also love the vibe of this chic, funky salon. I’m looking forward to trying some of their other services.

Natasha did such an amazing job with my hair! I came in not really knowing what I wanted and she patiently listened and talked through options with me. She gave me great advice around how to get a look I loved that would come with a maintenance plan that fit my lifestyle. We ended up going with a balayage and I LOVE how it came out! She is a true artist and master of her craft. I've worked with Natasha now for haircuts, color, and styling and I highly highly recommend her for all three!

If you are in search of someone to cut and or color your hair, Manny is the one. He's been cutting my hair for 13 years and always makes me look and feel great. He does all kind of cuts, but I truly appreciate him cutting my pixie while still making me feel feminine. Thank you Manny for all you do - you're my go to!!

Highly recommend getting a facial here, staff was friendly and efficient. Owner, Amy Bailey, conducted an amazing facial based on my specific needs and did a great job of explaining a skin care routine that would be beneficial to me in between treatments.

I recently visited Townhouse Beauty Bar and was thoroughly impressed by the service I received from The Master Stylist, Agostino.Let me begin by how I was welcomed with a warm smile. He made sure that I was comfortable and well taken care of throughout my visit. The Master Stylist is very knowledgeable and took time to listen to my needs. He offered expert advice on how to achieve the look I desired. The end result was amazing! I left the salon feeling refreshed, confident and beautiful. I was extremely pleased with quality of products used, and the attention to detail that I was given to each and every aspect of my experience. My current stylist Jenn is on "Baby- Cation" AKA maternity leave.I was referred to Diana Cruz by one of my clients. I have long curly hair, as well as a sensitive scalp. I am very very selective & demanding . . . .to say the least! The Townhouse Beauty Bar is a very quaint & elegant boutique salon located on Charles St in Beacon Hill.I was very nervous . . .that . once again; my "trim" would turn out to be a bob lol. I was presently surprised! Diana is an amazing listener & extremely talented with long hair. Her blow-out was so relaxing I would book with her weekly. She has a very charming & glamorous persona. When I sat in her chair I instantly trusted her. I would definitely recommend her to any of my friends & clients. Thankyou Diana!

I have heard so many wonderful things about this salon that I attempted to book appointments for hair and makeup before a wedding. Sadly, I called twice to make an appointment/confirm my appointment. But each time they stated they didn't have me on the schedule. So disappointed ?.

I went to see Kerry for an eye lash refill very dissatisfied...she took 1hr 30mins to do a refill and after 1week and three days my eyelashes was falling out. I called to complain she said I would have to pay 180.00 dollars to fix it that's her policy!! Ridiculous!! Don't think she knew what she was doing.
