Central, modern and top notch employees. We are in the luxury suite which we like very much. The only improvement could perhaps be on the in-room dining menu for dinner. But a small thing. All in all I find the other reviews claiming it isn't really a full blown Ritz somewhat misleading. We arw having a great time here and have been at plenty of Ritz hotels around the world.

Surprised is what I can say. I am the highest level of Marriott status having stayed over 300 nights in Marriott properties last year. This property does not have a fitness center. It is connected to an Equinox which offers access for $20. Further, the Marriott status does not offer any benefit whatsoever in getting access to the lounge. The lounge access is an extra charge per day of $200. What is the point of choosing this property if you're going to pay above the line for other items like the lounge and fitness center? I won't be staying here again. And it manages to get even better. They have an option to get a Keurig or Nespresso machine in your room for coffee. We called to have one delivered. Took 30 minutes; no milk; and then the machine doesn't even work! How difficult can it be just to put a coffee machine in each room?

The Ritz-Carlton made my daughters first trip to Boston for the Nutcracker a magical experience! From a welcoming check-in & room upgrade overlooking the park to an impromptu scavenger hunt created by the staff, we could not have had a better time. Every employee was lovely and went above and beyond. The hotel was also decorated beautifully!

Great place to stay for an upscale experience in Boston.Greatly appreciated early check-in/late check-out.I would also like to give a special mention to Ryan (Concierge) -- he was able to accommodate putting a fragile Lady M cake in a refrigerator prior to our daughter's birthday!

A great property w/a great Ritz-Carlton Club!! Yummy food, good drinks & great service.Great location, right off of Boston Commons. The adjoining Equinox Sports Club is convenient but way too big (think factory); they do have a solid but way-too-crowded indoor heated pool. The adjoining residences seem to get the bulk of the privileges & views.

First stay at this property went well, get upgraded to a park view one king when checked in, room was nice, service was great. Second stay went not so well, I found blood mark in the sink and dirt on the carpet so I complained to the front desk, manager came here apologized and switched me to a executive suite served with wine. This hotel is still using the not so environmental friendly old brand small size bottle body wash, shampoo and conditioner instead of diptyque like other Ritz Carlton do but they do have the diptyque soap for some reason. For this price point I probably will expect a little more or maybe that’s just me. Location is pretty nice, right next to Boston common. Probably will try four season next time instead of this property.

Betsy with Guest Relations was awesome to work with. She helped me with a surprise and went over the top. She responded quickly to emails and phone calls. She helped make the trip special right from the start. THANK YOU!!

We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Boston for a week while in town for a convention. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is wonderful. The hotel is close to shopping, lots of food and the T.The room was very quiet and we never heard any noise from outside.Safety: Kamala Harris was speaking at the hotel during our stay. The secret service and Boston police seemed to work together to get us through security quickly and back to our room.Walkability: Close to the T. Lots of shopping and dining. Across the street from a park.

The most incompetent receptionist staff ever. Unfriendly rude with zero courtesy to the client. I have been in over 42 countries staying in many ritz Carlton in USA and out and this is the worst experience I ever had in hotels in general and in ritz Carlton hotel specifically.

Mediocre. Not bad but definitely not Ritz Carlton brand level. Ambassador status with Marriott but I’d still bite the bullet and stay at the Four Seasons next time for a better quality hotel.

We had no issues with the bellman. He was always polite and wish people would actually leave actual photos and prove they even stayed here? I feel that's one issue with these online reviews is that you don't know what's fake, real, or posted by competitors. In either case, you get what you pay for applies here. We looked at all the 4-star hotels and it just did not scream anything worth paying $500-$600 for so opted for Ritz (or it was between Four Seasons or Oriental) the double queen suite with the access to the lounge on the 12th floor which our room was also on looking at the city. I'm assuming the better rooms are facing towards the park area but either way, the room was very clean, NO smell, and had everything we needed. The lounge access is worth it in our opinion. Free wine and drinks at any time while it's open, great breakfast, very clean, and the room was spacious. Also, it was VERY quiet. I believe they have better soundproofing than most traditional hotels as we didn't hear a peep. Being on the 12th floor, one would think the outside noise can be heard but the windows seem to isolate that very well. Our room did have the option to crack the window open which was nice. The bathtub is very roomy and deep. Very hot water with high flow so issues there. The separate shower stall is also luxury, and everything seemed very detailed. If there's anything I can add that could improve is slightly better lighting for the vanity; maybe downward recessed lighting if not ambient around the mirror. We'll definitely come back here again!Nearby activities: SO many places to eat! Events and so much more outside of shopping.Safety: Very safe; key card access to use the elevator 24/7 and the doors seems very heavy duty.Walkability: It was a seven minute train ride from North Station on the orange line and four minute walk to the hotel. Super convenient. Everything else is walking distance and if not, take the subway for everything else. I wouldn't bother with Uber/Lyft though it'll depend on the time of the day but we would had to wait an hour or longer plus $20+ just for a basic ride. Subway was also updated so it was actually a very pleasant experience!Food & drinks: Club Lounge has white & red wine as well as water and other drinks (all for free) and breakfast, lunch, and snackable items throughout the day. We did not go to the restaurant here.

Beautiful hotel and good food fromTheir restaurant yet the rest is not a true RC experience. From the moment we arrived, to coming and going during our stay, the doorman repeatedly paid zero attention to helping us as a young family with a stroller. The last night, we left at 4:30 pm to shop the doorman saw us waiting for our car after sometime from when we texted to get it from vallet, he then helped ensure our rental car was on the way up. We left for dinner, came home at 6:30pm (same doorman) didn’t acknowledge nor help us then once he saw me stroll my infant into the glass double doors of which we were parked outside of he mentions to my husband he thought we were getting dropped off by Uber. So you don’t help your guests back inside if they have an Uber?Secondly, the crib they have for infants has seen better days. It’s a 2x4 metal noisy crib. Again, RC over $1100/ a night you can have a clean, newer crib. This crib was beat up to say the least. We have been fortunate to stay in RC across the world and I trained with RC corporate in South FL… this RC needs to be evaluated by corporate and address the lack of attentiveness and hospitality at arrival with doormen and the current crib equipped needs to be replaced.Overall Boston is such a beautiful town to visit as a family yet if you are considering here, 4 four seasons or Langham… we already did the leg work for you. Not here.
