These people are terrible, their bedroom sheets are dirties, some of their rooms ain't got no bathroom but still charging you the same, I am conducting an investigation, taking pictures,I hope they can see their reviews and change....it's a human being health we're talking about....their bedrooms stink like there was a dead rat...they are looking at a very serious lawsuit, possibly close...if they keep on doing the same things like using their bed sheets over and over, get people room without bathroom, not cleaning the rooms...they are terrible

If you are looking for a bargain deal close to the center and in a safe neighborhood, you got it! Service was great, neighborhood has everything you need, and you won't find much better for the price. If you are looking for an updated and modernized inn, this is not place for you.

was directed to a room in a completely different building, which was absolutely disgusting in smell, look, and all around just gross. they tried to put us in another much smaller room, same story. when we asked for a refund they were very rude about it. would not recommend.

I needed a room here very last minute while traveling, and David the owner was so nice to put me in one of the nicer rooms. The staff is very kind and accommodating! Very grateful!

The rooms were very spartan and a bit dingy. The one saving grace of this place is that the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Booked through Expedia and it seemed like a cute, inexpensive, slightly outdated building but charming and clean from the listing. I checked in late and apparently they gave my room away... They did try to accommode us by walking us to a separate building next door, NOT THE FARRINGTON INN. Completely rundown building, total different vibe and conditions, people yelling, and running around, I didn't even feel safe staying there. I never got to see if the Farrington rooms were actually worth it, or advertised correctly, but their business practices are terrible and just would recommend avoiding this place/listing/booking.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. We had a room booked through Expedia and specified it would be a late check in (confirmed it would be fine over the phone) and the booking was a pay upon arrival. Apparently they gave away our room because when we arrived at 11 pm they said they didn’t have one for us. They shuffled things around and walked us to the building next door, which was immediately miles worse than the place we booked the moment the door opened. Holes in the walls, dirty, other people staying were yelling and hitting walls, the mattress had cigarette burns in it among other stains, and I genuinely felt unsafe. When we went back downstairs and told the front desk employee we couldn’t stay there, he said that happens a lot and he figured we wouldn’t want to stay. We ended up having to spend a lot more to get a last minute room at a hotel. Their business practices are awful, the front desk employee said they regularly give away people’s rooms, and they will just throw you in one of their other buildings that have lower rates and are much lower quality, but charge you the same as the main building.

Noteworthy details: Mostly hostel-ljke in the shared bathroom way and the solo, ADA-friendly room i had was plain but better than sleeping outside. Lol. Cheapest place i could find and it was still over a buck-fifty. Boston is wild high on accommodations.

No elevator. Not even a hotel - just an old shabby house labeled as a hotel. The pictures are all misleading and don’t reflect the real place. No employee in the front office. The price for the rooms are supposed to be one third (33%) of what they are charging.

The workers are kind despite the absolutely disgusting work environment, the owners should be ashamed of themselves. How they are legally allowed to operate this business is BEYOND me. When we were escorted to our room, I was expecting to be in the hotel building. However, I was walked to a random building down the street, with no prior notice that we would not in fact be staying in the hotel. Not only that, but there are no bathrooms in the units. They are SHARED, how gross? The first thing I noticed walking into our room was the smell of mold. I then went on to bag all of our belongings because I knew something was off. The mattress and box spring were ON THE FLOOR. So glad I went with my instincts in bagging our stuff, because upon inspecting the mattress 4 bugs crawled out. Not only that, but there were clumps of hair in between the boxspring and the mattress, which you can see pictured. The picture after is blurry because I screamed and left upon seeing the bugs crawl out. We were at this place for not even 15 minutes before leaving. I have never been someplace more disgusting and I have genuinely had better and less DANGEROUS AND HEALTH COMPROMISING experiences sleeping on the street. You are better off saving your money. In all honesty, with the state of the building it should be condemned.
Safety: Would not recommend if you have any self respect to stay at this place. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I’ve worked at homeless shelters less disgusting. I could smell the mold upon walking in, and lord knows I would have screamed if I brought out my blacklight. Had an asthma attack within minutes. There were clumps of hair between the mattress and box spring.
