One of the best locations to stay in Boston. Right by the Commonwealth Ave., 3 min walk to the Boston Commons, 5 min to the Public Library, 15 min walk to the Prudential Center. There are many coffee shops and restaurant nearby. The Tatte back bay location is 2 blocks away. If you would like to experience how it feels living in a 19th century building, this is the place for you. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming. One thing could be improved is the breakfast. Otherwise, all happy with my short stay there. Would recommend it to my friends.

What a hidden gem! I stayed here in late December and it was such a lovely quiet neighborhood with really well appointed rooms. Mine was very spacious, with great appointments - all of them have been designed by a different local interior designer - so each is one of a kind. The continental breakfast was generous (and great hours) and the location can't be beat - easy to walk to lots of restaurants, the Green Line, the Boston Central Library. Staff was very communicative and the room was very quiet each night (love that there are no TVs in the rooms!). Wifi was great as well.

Fraudulent company. Stay out of trouble or say goodbye to your money. Cancelled due their system error with multiple conflicting cancellation policies. By raising it with them I was promised free cancellation in writing and also received the confirmation email that nothing would be charged, yet, 4 days later they charge me the cancellation fee. They are even disputing they own emails and words. I can only imagine what would happen if I kept the booking, would probably be sleeping on the street. AVOID.

we were first-timers in boston, and this b&b was such an amazing introduction to the city. It felt more like a family home than staying at a hotel! when you first walk in, gentle music greets you. they literally have a plate of yummy cookies ready 24/7 in the dining room area. the building/room itself was so quaint and full of character, not to mention the amazing location! All of it will make you want to stay longer. we especially loved perusing the multiple books on the clubs history, they sure don't skip the small stuff when it comes to hospitality! If you have the chance to stay here- do it!! It will become one of your favorites, just like it did for us :)

BE AWARE. Just be aware that if you make a reservation for a room at the B&B and you need to cancel that reservation--even if you do so well in advance of arrival--they still charge you a significant fee per night. It's very easy to miss this information when you book and to assume that you are booking into a regular B&B. In fact their policies are closer to a "strict" AirBNB model, and they are not flexible.

Super nice. Right on the the park blocks. Lots of shops and cafes nearby. Very functional 24-hour coffee machine.

I recently held a brunch meeting at The College Club. The food and service were impeccable. The venue is truly unique and very beautiful. If you are looking for a beautiful location for a special occassion event, then I strongly recommend speaking with Chef Chris Bussell at The College Club. He and his staff will make your occassion truly memorable. The College Club is located half a block away from the Public Garden in Boston. You can not find a more convenient location for your stay.

My stay here was fantastic! The staff was great and knowledgeable and took time to answer my questions. The location is perfect! Nearly all of the major tourist spots are within a thirty minute walk. The room had everything I needed and was very charming. I will be staying there again.

College club of Boston is a great place to stay if you are looking for something historical and centrally located. The bed and amenities left something to be desired, but you cannot have it all with somewhere so historical!

My two day stay College Club was fantastic. The room was beautiful and spacious and the staff was friendly and helpful. They are located in a beautiful 1860s brownstone in the Back Bay area, which is filled with plenty of Victorian era charm. It's conveniently located within walking distance of Copley Square & the Boston Public Library's McKim building (which is a required stop for any visitor to Boston), and several "T" stops so getting around the rest of the city is a cinch. I will definitely be back if I make any subsequent visits to the Boston area.

My husband and I came and stayed at the College Club for our honeymoon this past week and we had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the old timey feel and the breakfast each morning. The location is also very convenient as it’s close to multiple coffee shops and amazing restaurants. If you choose to stay here definitely check out Joe’s, it’s super tasty.

Stayed 1 night in September 2022. My single room is tiny and rusty and noisy. The building has potential to be cleaned up to look at least someone cares, but there are clutters everywhere. Price is 3 times that of staying in a monastery in Rome, Italy during peak season, cleanliness and amenities is much worse.
