I’ve been buying all of my baby/children’s gifts at Tadpole since moving to Boston 10 years ago. This store has such a variety of beautiful and unusual products at all price points that I always find something that I think is the perfect gift. The salespeople are beyond pleasant—personable and EXTREMELY helpful altho I can be very, very fussy/choosy! They are very patient and take time with every customer. And they wrap and mail gifts very quickly. I wouldn’t buy baby/children’s gifts anywhere else! A+ experience each and every time!

Wow, A+ experience here. We were helped by Valeria, who was so knowledgeable and helpful on stroller and car seat combos. Best customer service we have experienced as we have searched for a stroller. Excited to continue to support this local store as much as we can.

My boyfriend and I traveled from Rhode Island to Tadpole this morning to look at some strollers and car seats as we don’t have many options back home. We walked into the store did some browsing and headed towards the back where the strollers and car seats are kept. Not once where we greeted or asked if we needed assistance. A white couple had walked in shortly after us and headed towards the back as well. They were promptly greeted and of course assisted. Being a first time mom is very overwhelming and to get such poor treatment was very disappointing. Needless to say after we were ignored I was completely turned off and left the store and took my money elsewhere.

I bought a DOHM from Yogasleep. I asked the seller to have a look if it was possible to open the carton box. Was not possible (what I can understand) so the seller showed me on internet what it is and how it works.Unfortunately it was in the reality absolutely not the same as what was shown. Then I tried the device and it worked only 5 minutes. What a disaster...

Staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful! Went in to test out strollers and compatible infant car seats. Owner took the time to walk us though each one and allow us to test them outside. Highly recommend for first time parents!

I give them a 3 because the both times I gone there, the employees seem so dry. In there Instagram video they don’t seem that way, which is why I decided to take the drive to there store because I felt like they would able to help me. Never got acknowledgement. Cute little store but just wish they had a better selection of infants clothes. They did have some items that are adorable and you don't see in others stores.

We came to Boston for a getaway weekend and as soon as we arrived at the hotel we realized I forgot the accessory that attaches to our stroller in order to have both our kids ride along in it. We searched online to find a stroller at a bunch of places and no one had any in stock. We found Tadpole on Clarendon street, we called them and they had them in stock. So we went there and bought a new Thule double side by side stroller. The staff put the new one together for us, had a bike pump to pump the tires up and they kept the stroller we had until the end of the day so we didnt have two strollers while we were wandering around Boston with a couple toddlers. They went above and beyond. Would certainly recommend!

I love shopping at Tadpole. It’s my favorite children store in the Boston area. Ana, the owner of the shop, is very friendly and was very helpful and knowledgeable when we tried to figure out what preparation we needed to do at home for our first baby. Me and my husband both felt so lost and overwhelmed with the amount of information thrown online at soon to be parents, that it was very refreshing to talk to someone in flesh and wind down all the worries. Ana also explained everything there is to know about choosing safe car seats and addresses our needs. When the car seat was ordered, she kindly helped with the installation and took her time explaining how to use it. If you are looking for no nonsense help and stock of children’s goods check out the Tadpole.
