Could be a great store in a poor area but it violatles the board of health codes and the Americans with disabilities act. I understand they have theft and homeless issues. But they are violating very important laws. 1.) the Americans with Disabilities Act. They put bags over the other toilets, urinals , and sinks so that only 1 person can use it at a time and they are now locking the door. They also removed one of the exits to the store. This is not legal. I get it but you cannot do these things to people. It hurts disabled people, it is a health code violation, and a fire code violation among other things. Shame on management for allowing your security team to run roughshod all over the store. When they stop these violations I will amend my comment. This has been this way for at least 2 years and it's now June 22, 2024 please advise

I see how customers come in Stop & Shop saying food is expensive! I would remind them every $5 adds up, unless your getting it on sale by using their rewards and clipping the sale items in their cart, including "Digital Coupons"!
However Stop & Shop usually have great deals!

This is probably the best Stop and Shop in dorchester, Boston. The store is clean. The staff are great. There is a robot always wandering about. And most importantly, they are always well stocked. Great store.
