This was the first time I didn't have a negative experience with a rental car in the U.S. I'm so glad I've chosen SIXT over any other major rental car company. The desk agents were super nice and helpful and there were no hidden costs what often happened to me by renting a car. I will definitely choose SIXT again next time I'll be visiting the U.S.Highly recommended!

The Boston Logan airport branch is amazing!!!! I had a terrible experience with a different company- I prepaid and they wouldn’t give me the car so I had to cancel and then book very last minute with SIXT. my experience with them was good from the start. They quoted me an accurate wait time- an hour even though I had booked so last minute. The manager Farley came out and gave me a complimentary upgrade and got me checked into the rental quickly and efficiently. They held a 200$ security deposit which is extremely reasonable compared to the first company thrifty wanted to hold 500$. The car was a Acadia Denali it was amazing- clean and maintained well. Drop off was just as smooth- I had a final bill and my security deposit returned the day after I returned the car. I’ll be using SIXT in the future. Thank you for the wonderful experience. It was truly the highlight of my week in Boston ❤️

Please avoid this company, I rented a car on the 6th and returned on the 7th. Car was returned in the condition that it was given to me, Perfect! I had to of course put a $200 deposit on top of my rental amount of $171. I was told it will be refunded once I return the car. Well I look at my account and they posted the $371 and have not refunded me for the deposit. They are scammers. None of their phone numbers work.I have sent an email to the customer service email that Latasha posted below. I am waiting for their reply…

Always a great experience with SIXT, staff at check-in very friendly and helpful. I have rented several times now and always have a great car to drive, the one complaint this time was there was no windshield washer fluid not very good in New England with winter coming. I am sure just and over site. Hopefully the cars keep the quality standard that I look for.

I arrived after midnight towards the end of the shift. Kevin assisted me in getting a vehicle right away. It was a pleasant experience with professionalism displayed at all times. Sixt is the best car rental business available.

Alexandra, was quick to look up our reservation, find an available vehicle to get us on the road while other counters were backed up and she even had the presence of mind to offer my kids water. Just a great experience, and stellar customer service.

Do not rent from this location! If I could give this places 0 stars I would. I thought my experience at SIXT boston was going to be enjoyable however it ended with the most outrageous charges after I returned the rental car. Upon arrival I was given a free upgrade since the vehicle I reserved was unavailable. Upon receiving the vehicle my wife and I noticed that there was shards of glass in the trunk of the SUV and the carpet was wet. We also noticed there was a note on SIXT letterhead that stated "Replace Glass" We called the fleet manager over to the vehicle and pointed out the glass to her. She asked if we would still be willing to take the car with the pieces of glass in the trunk. I verbally agreed to this. The woman then proceeded to take pictures of the glass in the trunk and walked away. We used the vehicle for 7 days without any issues. Upon return of the vehicle I then re-informed the agent of the glass in the trunk and stated that it was like this when we got it and that they should clean it out before the next guest takes the car. A day later I am now being charged a $250 cleaning fee. I filed a dispute of the charges with customer service and the provided picture of the reason for the special cleaning fee. They sent me pictures of the shards of glass I pointed out to them. Additionally I am being charged a $400 smoking fee. The vehicle did not smell like smoke when we received it. Also neither my wife or I smoke or have ever smoked. We were given no explanation on this charge. The Regional Branch Manager, according to Sixt Customer Service stated that the charges would stand without further explanation. Do not rent from this company. They will tell you everything is ok with the car and then charge you additional fees when you have no ability to dispute their claims. Google these sneaky charges, they are not one time offenders of this practice!

I swear these 5 star reviews are fake. There is no way. This was down in Miami but TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE .. very rude and racist .. and we keep getting charged months later and no way to stop it and customer service sucks. We've emailed and contacted them. no idea what to do now.. they literally have our credit card and keep charging us...We were charged extra fees and no explanation of what it was for. We were charged first and then a general bill came via email days later. So annoying. Also terrible and racist experience when picking up the car as well. Do not recommend.

Great customer service and attention. We were greeted by Raul with waters and an endearing hospitality. He arranged the best car for us with the plans we had for our trip. We were seen a timely manner and were able to start our trip on a great foot. Thank you so much Raul.

It was a pleasure to work with Carel at the Boston Logan Airport location! I was stressed about getting to the office in time to pick up my rental late night and with a whirlwind trip ahead of me, his manner and ability to answer my questions about my car needs and the local conditions/roadways eased my mind greatly getting trip off to a smooth start. He put me in a BMW 3 for a great price and it was the perfect car for my trip! I will definitely use SIXT next time I rent a vehicle in their available location zones!

Declined their insurance add on and it mysteriously made it onto the final contract and also got stuck with a bunch of other miscellaneous fees. Total bill was 50% higher than it was supposed to be. Hope they enjoy that extra $130 as I tell everyone I know to avoid them.

Not really sure why there are so many complaints about this place. Got in on a Saturday afternoon, went to the counter, and was greeted by the friendly Tanivsnka. She quickly got us through all the paperwork and we were in a nice Nissan Altima in excellent time. Return was effortless other than navigating the Boston traffic. I got this rental via a Travelocity blind reservation and after checking out the reviews I was nervous. But no issues. The complainers are probably novices.

Walked into the car rental center at Logan. No line or wait. Immediately greeted and processed. Good signage to find the cars, checkout was a breeze. The most efficient car rental experience I’ve ever had. Maybe just lucky but I’ll take it.

Due to all the flight cancellations, lots of people were renting cars. Carel provided outstanding customer service. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The check out process was efficient and straightforward requiring minimal time.

Flight was delayed, and I missed my window to pick up my vehicle. Was on hold 3 separate times totaling an hour, speaking to 3 different reps. All of them were stoic and said “sorry can’t help you.” So i had to spend 4am-7am with my 9 month old child because my flight was delayed and I came in late. Zero help. Zero sympathy. Zero accommodations. Never heard of Sixt before this trip, and I will NEVER use them again.EDIT*** Thank you for the generic response. I called SIXT right before my flight, and they switched my time over to 7am. That doesn’t help my situation, because I am now stuck at the airport with a 9 month old just waiting to get my car. TO EVERYONE ELSE… go with a reputable company that’s open 24/7… you’ll thank yourself for it even if it’s a bit more expensive.
