As someone who knows absolutely nothing about foundation, I was so relieved that Phyls (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) was beyond helpful and was able to color match me PERFECTLY on the first try. A complete lifesaver and clearly an exceptionally knowledgable staff member who explained to me the nuances of foundations, tinted moisturizers as well as tinted sunscreens. Thank you again!!!

I went in for help finding a concealer to cover my hyper pigmentation. As a minimalist makeup wearer and someone who rarely spends more than $15-$20 on a product, I was amazed at how Amanda helped me find the perfect makeup match and toner (all products under $16) and Sephora branded so I know I can find them affordable again. Her attention to my needs was great and I would definitely return again to this location.

The greeter was so sweet to pair me with Matt when I told her I needed help with getting makeup for a wedding. Wow …. This team of pro make up and skin specialists care !!! They are amazing and the best at this mega trans friendly store …. I’ve never seen such teamwork and such professionals and such diversity and such care for the LGBTQ+ community.
This store should be the model for all Sephoras

Love this location. Im always greeted and it can get super busy, but there’s always someone to check on you for any questions/finding anything okay. Even when I cannot find exactly what I’m looking for, they do advise products or locations that will that’ll still work for me. Awesome people working in there. Super friendly environment. Great job Sephora

Amazing place, very professional staff.I entered the store, the staff immediately asked if they could help and what type of product I was looking for, I said I wanted a perfume for my wife, I mentioned the brand and the staff immediately went to get it for me. I had the most wonderful experience today at the Newbury St. location. Myiesha helped me out tremendously! She approached me after I had only been browsing around the store for a minute or two and asked if I needed any assistance. Right away, I noticed she was friendly, professional, and excited to give me recommendations. I expressed some of my skin concerns and she immediately led me to several products, allowing me to test each one. The entire time she held fantastic conversation. She is so charismatic and complementary. I found her to be extremely knowledgeable on the products and also the seasonal deals. I landed on purchasing several items from Fresh as they were on special discount that day. As Myiesha checked me out, she let me know of some best practices for using my points and also referred me to the holiday skincare services, which I didn't even know Sephora offered! Myiesha continued to speak knowledgeably about cosmetics and fragrances as she walked me back to the exit, and she invited me to come back any time I needed something. I would go as far to say that this will now be my #1 loyal Sephora location. I had to leave a review here because I was so happy with the customer service, very refreshing!!

The staff are super friendly, approachable, and helpful. The issue is the product shelves were very dirty with smeared makeup products. I've been to this store several times and I've never seen it like that.

Worst Sephora you could step foot in, super unhelpful staff that are more concerned in doing their own makeup than showing one ounce of friendless. Can't for the life of them say anything informative or coherent and leave you to grasp for answers with other unhelpful staff. Surprised since it's in newbury st but I guess not all stores hold the same level of quality
