Terrible customer service. If you are a small business do not do business here! I have used them for 20 years but new changes in their policies makes them impossible to do business with. The new Chase in West Roxbury will win the business!

The new manager, Bruce, is very nice and knowledgeable. My wife has been going to see their banker, Rana, for years. Top notch bank! I recommend this bank to everyone.

I can certainly see why this small town bank has the reviews it does… I came for some simple banking needs before a month long trip I’m taking in two days.I was told to wait for a bank manager. There was a red/orange haired woman at one of the desks on the phone. I patiently waited for her to finish her call. As I waited I realized this wasn’t even closely business. She was talking to a friend about everything including needing a sugar daddy, planning hang outs and just laughing and making jokes… for 15-20 min! As I just sat there listening. I stood up and even made eye contact with her incase she didn’t realize I was there but she looked directly at me and continued her call.I’m all for a casual work environment but this was completely inappropriate. A bank of all places should have some level of professionalism, respect and courtesy when dealing with people’s finances. I’ve never have seen that behavior at any bank.

Worst banking experience ever! And I've dealt with a lot of banks. DO NOT try to open a small condo association account here! Their legal department clearly doesn't want to do business with condo associations. 2 in person meetings with Branch Mgr, plus at least 10 emails back and forth, and still they wanted more paperwork. 4/8 thru 4/12 and still no acct! They even asked us for a form that we had to make up, then they would decide if it met with their approval. There is no such form! They told us to get a lawyer to create a form. So, we went down the street to Rockland Trust. 45 minutes later we were all set. Bank with small, local banks, folks. We have free checking for our condo association. The Mgr was very professional and very apologetic. The legal department seems to be run by Moe, Larry, and Curly.

Never enough people working there, yet always busy. Every time I’m there I’m waiting 20-40mins to see a teller. For a banker it’ll be for hours … if you need the ATM just the ATM then come here. Other than that wouldn’t recommend this bank.

Very helpful. Money orders are $5, compared to a couple dollars in other places. Overall great bank.

You will only get good service at this branch if you are Caucasian. I usually go to other branches but had a client meeting down the street from this branch. I went in there this morning, before my meeting, to open a business checking account. There was two people ahead of me, while the one platform representative was attending to the client in her cubical. She came out periodically to personally apologize for the extended wait to the other two customers. Even sat next to the customers, apologized, and again reassured them it will not be much longer. As two more customers walked into the bank, she came out of her cubical to greet them and again apologized for the long wait. Meanwhile, I was never greeted as I walked into the branch, was never personally apologized to for the excessive wait time and was completely ignored as she ran in and out of her cubical to get documents from the office printer. I had to drive across town to get the quality service I deserve. I'm sure they have good service but they clearly still subscribe to the antiquated banking practices of profiling customers and only attending to those who look like they have the most resources ( Caucasian) very disappointing.

Santander bank has been very helpful to me and others. I like their banking app in which I can see my balances, deposit checks, make transfers, and best of all, I pay all my bills through the bank's bill pay system online. I have known several of the tellers for decades as the bank went from Bank of New England, to Shawmut and other iterations. They are always friendly and helpful. The bankers who sit at desks and help people with customer service are also extremely courteous and knowledgeable. All of the employees say hello to customers they see frequently by name. I couldn't ask for more from a bank.

one of the worst bank I ever had open account. I don't recommend anyone to open account on this. they just offer 20 but their are so many hidden fee.
