The staff here are great. They provide friendly, efficient service. Getting a few items notarized was free. During these hot summer months, they offer bottles of water. Their savings rates are comparable to other banks. I'll be back soon.

I did not get the promotion Bonus of $225 for opening a Simply Right Check account. If I could give Santander a negative rating, I would do it. I open the account on-line at Stander website on 11/17/2020 during their promotion time. Santander offered a bonus of $225 for people to open a new Simply Right Checking with qualified activities such as direct deposit and Bonus will be paid in 90 days. Santander did NOT provide promotion code at their website and there was no entry to enter for the promotion code when open the account on-line. After 90 days, and I met their requirements, I called them in the begging of March, 2021 regarding to the bonus which I did not received yet. The representative told me I was supposed to received the Bonus and I had to wait until 3/18/2021. He did not mentioned promotion code. In the begging of April, 2021, I called them again, The answer was unbelievable. The representative said;" the Bonus was denied because you did not put promotion code." I want to state again that they did not provide promotion code on the website during November 2020 to open the Simply Right Checking account. What's more terrible was he asked you to recall all the details 4 months when you open the bank account on-line to make you feel you made a mistake not to put a promotion code. Didn't Santander know how their website operating system worked? They must know it. Santander did not keep their promise to give people Bonus. The promotion offer on-line WAS PHONY . Santander bank is a DISHONEST bank! Be careful and stay away ! I also would like to say: For those who have a loan with Santander bank should look at your contract carefully in the begging when you apply for the loan, and do not let them play with you because this is a dishonest

Did you know it could take almost 3 hours to open a savings or checking account, as well as add one name on to a safe deposit box access? I didn't either, until I arrived at this bank. I would cut them a little slack, because we were replacing an account that had a fraud perpetuated upon it, but still... Every process is woefully inefficient, there is little regard given to customer experience, and the bankers adjoining the banker we were dealing with were so noisy that I couldn't hear the banker that I was talking to. This bank seems to do everything they can to make the banking experience MORE difficult and, subsequent to our lengthy visit when I had to call their customer support to reinstate our e-banking account they hung up on me twice after lengthy wait times on hold. Stay away from these folks - if there's ANY other bank nearby, go there instead!

Painfully slow service, loud indiscreet staff & a very disappointing experience all around at this branch. We emerged feeling deflated & aggravated from the insensitive customer service. Please try another bank if at all possible.

Be warned that if you close your money market savings account at Santander Bank they will NOT pay you the interest you have accrued since the last statement. For example if you close your account three weeks into the month, they will keep the interest you have earned during those three weeks. Therefore the only day you can close your account and not have your interest kept by Santander is the day interest is posted to your account.

So I Went Into The Bank Last Week To Banking Once Again And Nothing's Changed. The Teller I Delt With I Did Not Catch Her Name. There Were Two Tellers Both Occupied With Customers And I Was Waiting On Line For About 7 Mins. Sharmella (The Teller) When She Was Finished Once Again Ignored Me And Started Doing Other Stuff And Then Walked Away. Two Customers Then Come In. Once The Other Teller Was Finished I Walked Up. She Greeted Me And I Greeted Her. Told Her I Had About 6 Banking Books And I As I Went Through Them And Handed Her The Last One , She Says "Can I Take The People Behind You First." I Said "I'm Sorry But No I Have Somewhere I Need To Be." She Says "Well It Will Be Quick, You Have A lot A Books" I Said "I Know But I Have Somewhere I Need To Be." She Says "You Would Have To Wait Anyways" I Said "Well I Would Have To Wait Longer" Then She Says "It Will Be Quick" So I Asked For The Books Back And Left 1. She's Pressuring Me To Let The Next People Go Bc They Were Locals(I Know Because She Greeted Them By Their Name) 2.I Was The Customer At The Time And She Was Obviously Not Worried About My Needs But Everyone Else 3.If I Said No I Can't Wait , I Have Somewhere To Be ..Then She Should Have Never Went Back And Forth With Me , She Should Of Just Accepted The Customers Wishes If I Could Give This Place 0 Stars , I Would

This is the absolute worst Bank I have dealt with in 20 years. Terrible over the phone customer service and a horrible online platform. Dont even get me started on the people that work there, you would think they were carwash attendance based on their knowledge of banking. TERRIBLE BANK!!! STAY AWAY!!!
