Had a great experience here. Everyone was very honest and helpful. David in particular must be the greatest couch and design consultant in the Greater Boston area - we have been to a lot of furniture stores looking for a couch, and he really blew us away with his kind demeanour, thoughtful perspectives, and honest approach. Thanks to all for a great shopping experience!

Great store - but don't bring your children! The salesperson Margi scolded us for allowing them to sit quietly on a couch while we shopped. Will spend our money elsewhere.

I would have bought a sofa from them if I had received help. They are supposed to have a service that helps you design your room. I was just looking for help in picking out a material for the sofa. No one has ever really been able to help.

This place has problems with service. I honestly think R&B headquarters needs to come in and re-train or even train the staff. The place is set up as a showroom spread over multiple floors. So if you're looking to buy a bed you have to wander four floors to find them. It wouldn't be as much of an issue if there was staff on hand; two floors of the four are unmanned. The gentleman, who seems like he may be the manager, filters/profiles who he decides to acknowledge and help, mostly middle-aged couples. I understand he's trying to preserve his time and energy, but he needs to realize 1. his assumptions are biased and he's filtering out actual buyers 2. he's a brand ambassador for the store, a high-end furniture store at that, and people deserve to be acknowledged. I rummaged through the fabric samples on my own 8 feet from this man, for a significant amount of time, who worked really hard not to make eye contact or acknowledge my existence. I received much better service at Crate & Barrel buying $12 plates.

I'm pretty sure the manager will insult me online since he insulted me in the store, so take that with a grain of salt. I was treated horrifically in the store, as if I were a non-person. The manager ignored me completely so I got help from another associate. I was looking at furniture but also needed a second blanket to pair with one I had literally purchased the week prior. The week prior I took one of the blankets off the display shelf and was rung up, so I assumed I could do that again. Apparently not. I was yelled at, told to WAIT, told I had to wait until inventory was checked in the back, and told if it was not in the back I could not purchase the one I was holding which had tags on it. Despite the fact I had done that precise thing the week prior. I then told the manager that and he raised his voice at me and said I was treating him poorly! WHAT. the smallest type of man is the man who feels he needs to loudly condescend a woman in public and put her in her place. I was intending to purchase an entire apartment full of furniture, I had all the measurements and names of the pieces I wanted and was just double checking. Instead I walked out nearly in tears.

Pricey! But they have some amazing pieces of furniture here. I didn’t do my whole house but did a lot of unique pieces from here. Love the couch that I posted. Going to figure out where I can use that.

It took some time to figure out the concept, the design sessions with Jennifer did the trick. It can get pricey but you can furnish your entire house and make it all match with a bunch of different styles.

Very helpful staff and had what we wanted in a dining room table - one made of solid wood, not veneer.

I bought a set of occasional tables but I ordered the wrong color. The customer service was great and they ordered the new ones I wanted and when mine came they did the delivery of new ones and pick up of old ones on the same date. Not many companies that have great customer service these days. I recommend this company 100%

They had exactly what I was looking for. Very pacient, knowledgeable, helpful staff, just not enough of them (one per floor).

Great store, high end pricing… their own essential oil hand wash has a great smell, non drying! Would buy for every room & the whole house if we could afford it!

Shopped at Boston store and enjoyed. Cool styles and made in USA were appealing. Worked with "designer" who was sweet but really no help (and she was gone before our order arrived.) Waited many months for products and 2/6 arrived with poor factory finishes. So disappointing! Delivery was an absolute nightmare - first delivery was 10 p.m. on a rainy Sunday evening (after cancel on short notice Friday afternoon and no communication on Sat). Crew unprepared, scratched my closet and ceiling, filthy handprints on walls. Tried to move everything fully assembled with drawers and legs and struggled mightily. Second delivery was 7:30 a.m. on a Sunday, and crew confused about pick up items. They ultimately got the job done, but these deliveries were the most stressful I've ever had! I would never shop with them again and can't recommend them.

Customer service: 5 starsProducts: well….I think *if* they arrive to your door undamaged and new, then products are fantastic. However, this company has a major quality control problem. 3 of 4 items in my furniture order were returned. Wooden tops had gashes in them. On a $1000 desk, the powder coat was bubbled/poorly applied. This should not happen.Yes, you can return for free, but this wastes time. Room and board should improve their quality so we don’t need to return.Despite excellent customer service, I would not shop here again.
