I dont get all the positive reviews. The mom and daughter who own this place are wonderful......until......or if their is a problem. Long story short I had really long relaxed hair. I wanted a break from taking care of it (washing it every 3 days) so I got a weave. I did moisturize and wash my hair every seven days with the weave. I had it taken out at the same salon after a month. When the woman took it out ( different girl) I had about 25% of my hair left. Went from mid back to shoulder. I had a panic attack in the bathroom. I sat back in the chair and started to, borderline cry. The owner and her daughter came over. I said look at my hair, do you know what it looked like before? The daughter replied, yup. I told them of the hard work and years I put in to growing my hair. While I was talking I used the word damn. And the mother got in my face and was like, "Dont you curse at me." And the daughter was like, "Dont you know what happens after you get a weave?" I just picked up my stuff and left. I went here a few times before without incident. I guess it just depends on what beauty treatment your getting and your standards. All I know is, i won't ever go back and they're glad i didn't sue them, AND that I'm a Christian, because when the owner (who is a pastor) stepped in my face, it was too much, like a scene from Love and Hip Hop. She should've just apologized and tried to make it right, instead she got aggressive and said I cursed at her because I used the word damn? They should have their license REVOKED. Never trust people who have weaves, and Bad Weaves at that, to take care of your hair. Fyi I went natural shortly after. Also salons are in the business to make your hair look good, not to make your hair healthy

I've gone to this salon for 10 years now and have never been dissatisfied! They offer highly skilled and certified stylists that only use premium products. They offer the latest styles and techniques to give an immaculate finished look. I've done everything from cuts, dyes, micro links, weave etc... I even bring my girls now to get braided. The environment is welcoming and comfortable! You will leave your appointment feeling beautiful every time!

$225 for a basic weave install with leave out is over priced. There are many salons that do an outstanding job , that only charge between $100/$125.

Worse hair salon! I went in for a weave by default of my stylist canceling last minute. Had a sewin, which left me with a migraine. Never has my hair been that tight after a sewin. I notice my front track lifting and only to find out, the lifted track was my hair was literally ripped from the root, which left the entire area with a bald spot. I would not recommend this salon to even my worse enemy.

I had an appointment on 7/13/19 @ 11:30 am they had me wait around all day because she said her daughter was going to do my hair and I had to wait until she finish her clients after waiting they had another co-worker do my hair and did not start services on me until 4:30 pm and I ended up being the last client and did not get out until 8 pm then they were rushing to cut my hair because the owner had to finishing shopping because her son was having a 30th birthday party the next day Sunday 7/14/19 and she rushed to cut my hair which was uneven and she was suppose to have experience with weave and cutting I paid $185.00 for waiting all day the end results were I had to spend more money to have someone correct the bad cut job she gave and she did not even thin the weave out I will not go there again they seem to only be interested in the money aspect of it I have never been to a salon where they don't even wet and mold the weave. Don't go there if you expect to be sitting around waiting for them there were a total of 5 new clients that came that day also had to wait even after scheduling for appointments.

First experience (June20th $75 plus $15 tip) was good, my daughter gets her natural hair twisted . Second visit (June 27th $85 plus $15 tip) I come back for myself get a "silk press" it puffs that same night , ok whatever they took me in kinda last minute and I'm natural so kind of expected. Third visit (July5th $165 plus $10 tip) I get lemonade braids, she does not wash or blow my hair, (she knows I got it washed the week before, I really didn't wanna wash my moisture out anyway, but could still conflict with the braid quality by already having product in my hair, but whatever it's a "professional" salon who knows what's best). Takes about five hours for medium size feed-ins. As I'm leaving the stylists asked if I wanted a towel because the hair was still dripping wet, I didn't have time to sit under the dryer, I had another appointment, but not before another stylist objects "we can't give out towels" in my head I've spent almost $400 in 3 weeks and your complaining about a 50 cent towel? But w/e irritated and ready to go at this point I paid and left. My sister notices my braids are not flat, my hair is not tucked properly in the braid, and the braids are not uniformed in size. 4th and absolute last visit today July 9th $89 (not sure if tipped her dad paid) granted my daughter was out of town (without me to maintain), she swam a few days, took her twist out on her own, so her hair was very dry and tangled of which I warned, asked for simple cornrows, and ok'd 6 braids but these 6 braids were horrible looked like a 12 year old did them. Moral of my long story is don't charge people celebrity prices for amateur work. This is unexceptable and needs to stop! Salons and stylist need to be held accountable! No more hush hush support local businesses bull crap! I'm tired of "stylists" saying they can meet expectations and do not follow through! I'm tired of paying for crappy work and or sitting in someone's salon/chair for unnecessary hours at a time! Have to do better!

Samantha is really great with wash and blow dries on natural hair. I usually get a wash a blow dry, deep conditioning and a trim. And my hair grows amazing and stays healthy while going to this salon. I highly recommend for naturalistas! Call ahead to make an appointment and arrive early. This will ensure that you get done in a timely manner. Also they do weave, braids and other hairstyles. They also have a spa/nail section to the salon so call ahead for this services. It's like a one stop shop for special events or just for your weekly/monthly styling.
