This is not a Penske location, but a Landbird location which is a partner of Penske. I arranged to return my one-way cargo van rental here and showed up during business hours to a locked door and nobody there. Apparently Landbird is doing remote drop-off/pick-up only. It was snowing heavily and the parking lot had not been plowed since no employees bothered to show up to work, so I was unable to park (no traction) and had to go all the way to Medford instead. The Landbird representative on the phone was not helpful at all.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience from start to finish. Gentleman who checked us on in was kind, professional and helpful. The truck was nearly brand new and in great Shape. Per my husband, it was easy to dive and loved that there was a back up camera. Drop off return was seamless. I will never use UHaul again. Penske all the way.

I Called U-Save few minutes ago, after calling enterprise rental. Enterprise quoted me for the month 714.75 unlimited miles for an Altima car. U-Save car rental their name is a crock of crap should be changed to U-Spend more auto rental. They quoted me on the same car for the month with only 100 miles a day $831.26 Sounds to me they R thieves

Called the Penske in Brighton, I was answered promptly - I asked about availabilities for specific dates, and he said he will have to give me another number for those dates. He didn't explain that this other number would be a different location than the one he worked at. When I called the next location, no matter how may extensions I tried, they apparently hung up before the fourth ring because I got a tone saying "the caller did not answer the call at this time, thank you for calling Penske"

Nightmare. Stay far, far away. Hidden fees, dishonest quoting, and no customer support. First, they gave me the wrong vehicle. Then, even though I showed them the type of vehicle I booked, they showed me some fine print in the subtext that read, "Vehicle type not guaranteed". I was attempting to rent a multi-passenger vehicle for a field trip I was organizing. I ended up with a smaller van and having to recruit two chaperones to take the kids that couldn't fit. They promised me I could return my vehicle at 5PM on a Sunday. When I got there, nobody there. I waited for 2 hours, nobody came, then when I came back the next day they charged me for an extra day... and charged me another full day for parking (I left my car in their lot). When I said I attempted to return the vehicle on time but that nobody was there, they said, "Sorry, not my problem." Ridiculous and cruel! They also charge you more if you book them off of Expedia, just be aware. Evidently there's some contract language that allows them to do that. "Ripoff" doesn't even begin to describe this company. You've been warned.

Blatantly lied to me about the type of vehicle they would rent me. I was showing a cargo van ( which they do not rent one way) and then was checked out under the impression that that's what I would receive. I was instead given a truck, And because they filled out the paperwork for a vehicle I did not request there were no repercussions and I was stuck with the larger vehicle.

Good, friendly service overall. The only bad part of the experience was having to wait an extra hour for them to transfer the truck from another location. Wouldn't have been an issue if they had let us know earlier. It was a little annoying and inconvenient to have to kill an hour nearby while we waited. Otherwise the truck was great, the price was unmatched (1 day+night rental was $20-30 cheaper than a same-day-only Uhaul rental for the distance we needed).

This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had with a car rental company. Stay away if at all possible. After a weekend trip to Maine, we returned the car with a full tank of gas and no damage (with pictures to prove it). However, we were told the next day that there was a crack in the windshield. When we asked for evidence, we were given none. We did not even receive a picture of the alleged damage because the crack was "invisible." All they did was send us a quote for the supposed damage; we weren't even allowed to come see the car. We were then charged $750 to replace the windshield that we had photographic evidence was not damaged, and we were not even allowed to dispute it. These people are a bunch of scam artists, stay away unless you like being charged hundreds of dollars for damage you did not do. Just look at the other reviews, go elsewhere.

One the biggest scam company's in Boston. After years renting vehicles from them, today was the worst experience as a customer happened. I rented a suv from yesterday afternoon and dropped off four hours after the time that I was supposed returned and they charged me one extra day end up paying over $600 for a suv. This is outrageous!! When I asked why is the charge they told me that I should know.... funny right?? Horrible costumer service. They should explain to people when they came to rent their vehicles. Really disappoint when business take advantage on people like that. I hope people don't get couch on scam like this after this review. I

These guys scammed us by telling us the EZ-pass was $20. Turns out they lied to our faces and it's $20 PER DAY! We just rented this car for multiple days, this ballooned our price and totally screwed us over. They were completely unwilling to make any adjustments. Assholes.
