Okay, I’m a young millennial and opened my account online. It was easy and seamless. I got my card everything was fine until I had to get a replacement card. You can’t get a replacement card at the branch OR a virtual card, you have to wait till it comes in the mail and I really hope they change this to become more efficient because waiting 5-7 business days for a card is inefficient in modern times. Other than that, the mobile app is great and easy to use. TIP: Link your bank with another bank to transfer money between them if you’re waiting on your card. On the phone customer service is amazing. No comments on the bank tellers.

Hands down worst bank I’ve ever experienced or heard of. I opened an account with them 3 years ago in an effort to Bank Black. But sadly, they are horrible. They hold deposited checks anywhere from 2-20 days, never notified me when my tenants’ checks had bounced, froze my account every time I tried to withdraw from it, etc. we almost lost the house we bought because they wouldn’t let me have my money for the down payment (I left plenty of time, and called ahead so they wouldn’t think it was fraud. ) donate some money to the NAACP and bank with a credit union instead)

It's the absolute worst bank. I WILL NEVER DO A BLACK OWN BANK AGAIN! I have been a customer of One United for several years. When I decided to keep my money in a black-owned business, I had high hopes for loyal customer service and the complete protection of my assets. I called OneUnited seven times on 11/20/23 regarding an incoming wire transfer successfully sent from a closing transaction. I was told that the wire wasn't successful on the 17th because no address was indicated in the reference section of the wire. On Nov 20th, Townsgate closing service called OneUnited directly and asked for specific instructions on their wiring procedures. They followed them, and I was advised that my funds would be deposited immediately. I waited until 7:50 pm because they also stated that the wiring department works on West Coast time. My money still needs to be put in my account. I'm livid. I was supposed to pay a bill due, however, my funds have yet to be deposited in my account. I asked to speak to a senior supervisor; however, their supervisor does not work East Coast hours. I repeat, if you need to speak to a manager, do not call at 9 a.m. EST. After all of this, I will be closing my account. One United is absolutely the worst bank, and they hide behind being BLACK OWN!

Still have not paid back tax payer bailout. They owe millions to the " government" so watch out they may want to make that up with more shady practices. I would steer especially for mortgages.

I was given an opportunity to join immediately without waiting for approval which I found rather refreshing. I put off joining for a couple of years but figured why keep putting off my decision to join.

I to agree with who ever said the workers are rude is true, they no hospitality service, no respect or empathy in this s community, they act like their better than, one the rude tellers had an attitude because I was asked ng questions, and she didn't know how to explain anything, when she got even more nasty she spilled her drink on bank papers, I was so discussed with her her I came back the day closed my accountSome how I owe the bank $12 dollars??? for closing my account the next day, they deff need some training on how to treat people, the only one there who has respect or s the security guardWhen a dude walked in and wanted to close his account I should have walked out, but never again

Staff are always ready to assist you. They keep you informed of what's new and ask if you would like to open an account. Staff are friendly and make you feel like you belong there.

The bank is beautiful. My husband loved that bank. Sorry I have to leave for health reasons. the bank really is a beautiful bank. The workers are always so nice and professional.

Everything went good but my deposit didn't show up in my account until 4 days later. It was drafted from another account but it took 4 days to show up in my oneunited account.
