Do not allow this place to touch your vehicle without getting a estimate or quote in writing. They will give you the run around, then proceed with work that you did not approve/want/need, charging you double the standard price. Based off other reviews, it feels like a scam that they've been running for a while. I would highly suggest driving your car down the road to 705 VFW for honest and respectable work.

I've been going here since moving down the street 9 years ago. A good family operation. I get my gas, inspections, and occasional repairs here.

Make sure you read their signs on labor costs or ask ahead of time. They have a habit of not communicating cost until the end. They can do the work though.

I have come here time and time again for years. I needed to get all the breaks on my truck replaced, they provided a reasonable estimate with a competitive price. The replacement took a reasonable amount of time and the work was outstanding. I have also brought my wife's car here for some things and received the same level of service. The family that owns the shop is very friendly and are all great people.

Estimated the cost to replace my axil to be “$700-$800”, called another mechanic who said they could do it for $325. Honestly I feel like they tried to pull a fast one on me because I’m a girl. Don’t recommendService: General repairs & maintenance

I wouldn't go back if my life depended on it. I brought my car in to have a light bulb replaced and get my car inspected. I brought in the bulb as well. They installed the bulb but I guess it needed an igniter or ballast replacement from what they said.. you have to take the bumper off to change the bulbs but charging me 2 hours at $120 an hour for labor on unscrewing 10 screws and placing the lights in the sockets and say it something else. About the inspection, they made me feel like I was d**** they said the brakes needed to be replaced. Brakes aren't even part of the state inspection process. I had a good friend put in over $2400 worth of work into the car 2 weeks prior and he did a full inspection making sure my car could go across country. If my brakes, tires, anything was not good he would have said something. I don't trust anything these people say.

Very exceptional mechanics. Their work is always perfect and clean. At no point do they overcharge or up sell customers.

Terrible experience, they steal medication that is left hidden in cars for peoples needs and lie about prices. They told me a my car repairs were to be $2000 but ended up charging me $1000 more. If I could leave 0 stars I would, I can’t believe they stole my medication and called me “irrational” that I accused them as it was full the day prior and was accidentally left in my car. Do not use this company, I cannot believe their work as my car had to go the shop as the issues were not completely fixed. Do NOT go.Service: Auto maintenance

One of the worst experiences ever had, don't believe in those 5 stars. ( I wish I can give' minus' stars). Beware, they will rip you off!!. I took my car to this place for the State inspection, the mechanic intentionally broke the emergency brake and failed the inspection. He told me to fix the car immediately and quoted me an expensive price. My car was in excellent condition, I had no issues with the hand brake at all. Moreover, just a month back I had done a complete check-up and routine servicing from an authorized dealer. The lady at the front desk and the ' atrocious' mechanic look very desperate for business and even ready for malicious tactics. Be careful!!!

I have been going to this shop for the inspection of my two cars for the past two years after seeing good reviews. However, the guy in charge of the inspection was absolutely rude today. He was doing back and forth inspecting another car when I pulled into their lot. I hollered him "Excuse me" in the car to ask him whether he could do inspection today and if I parked at the right spot. He hand signaled me to wait. I waited a while but he did not seem to care. So I parked at a spot and went into the snack shop to find out how many cars were ahead of me and if I could get the inspection and was told to wait in the car. So I waited in the car which is not really safe since there are cars coming in for gas. Some 5 to 8 minutes later, this inspection guy came and told me "Out, out, out, I have to go home!" Absolutely rude! inspection is supposed to be done till 530 and i was the only one waiting and it was 4 30 pm or so. THen i asked him if he would place a protective cover for my white leather seat, he said no. Since he was wearing work outfit that was not so clean, i did not feel comfortable. He took a seat but he received an incoming call instead of taking my key and stepped out of the car and walked away. I stand there in dismay for few minutes and decided to leave. This would be my last visit here. I know there are other places who offers clean waiting area(chairs are so dirty) and use car seat covers and polite workers who does not yell at customer.

My car had a radiator fan that would not turn off, even when the engine was turned off. Took it to this shop to investigate and fix. They called me back after the second day that the car was ready. Indeed, the fan was no longer turning on and turned off when the engine turned off. They said they took everything apart and put it back. They did not say what the issue was. I was going on a trip. Otherwise, I would have taken it to a dealer, as appointments were 1-2 weeks out. No parts were replaced. They said they brought in an electrician to evaluate, but could not diagnose the problem. Damage:$855. No prior notification of cost. There is a sign that says labor billed @$120/hr for mechanic. But Electrician was billed @ $150/hr. Not notified of cost until I picked up the car. Standard practice is notification prior to starting any work. Billed time is trying to diagnose issue, not working on car. On my trip radiator fan stays on, even after engine turn off. Issues all trip to Maine. Took to Ford dealer after I returned. Identified issue in a couple hours: relay was stuck. Replaced. Damage ~$300 parts and labor. Takeaway: Use at your own risk

RIP OFF! Do not use this company unless you want to get ripped off. I needed a brakes job that costs on average $800 dollars and was billed $1700 by these crooks. Never received a written estimate, I spoke to 3 different people on 3 different days and was even asked "how much can you pay?". All parts used were overpriced and a lot of unnecessary parts were added to stretch the bill. They use silly scamming tactics such as intimidation, yelling at you over the phone, statements like" I don't have time for you, either you pay or you don't get your car", not returning calls, etc. Poor morals and awful service. Sad to see how some people have to take advantage of others to make a living. Stay away!
