They are nice and welcoming when you get there because all they want is your money! Went there for an estimate on getting her fixed and paid 100 bucks for nothing and no estimate! MONEY HUNGRY!!! ??

Love Neponset Animal Hospital. The worker and doctor are very professional and concerned about your dog or cat. I love going there and recommend it if you are looking for awesome services, take your loved one there.

Veterinarians are certainly capable as we've been taking our 3 dogs here for the last 1.5 years and the staff is nice... but the inflated cost and rationale is absurd. My dog had a laceration on his ear, was bleeding profusely, and the difference to have it cleaned/wrapped vs. cauterization/stitches was >$500. I understand it's more expensive whenever a dog needs to be sedated to treat a wound, but not only is the price unreasonable on a standalone basis, especially when this wasn't an ER trip - it's really the upcharges for the same services provided in either scenario that is infuriating. The cost comparison picture should put this in perspective for any pet owner - but to increase the price for the first 3 items (Office Visit, Nursing and Wound Clip and Cleaning) from one situation to the other is price gouging, but then to also add in the final 3 line items (Hospitalization, Laceration Repair and Surgical Monitoring) on top of those upcharges, just because they can, is not how I do business. I gave them the opportunity to explain and adjust it - the explanation as you may imagine was that this is the cost for this option, period. Needless to say, we left and went to another about 15 minutes further away that we've used in the past - but they're about 30% more affordable. Side note - i despise how Neponset has tried to upsell me at most other visits (i.e. blood work, dental hygiene and medication {they include the most expensive medication they sell when there are cheaper options available - but you have to ask/push}).

led so bad that I didn’t go near him for awhile, and he’s a fluffy cat so I never noticed his nails, but I went to give him a nail trimming (2 weeks since the grooming), I notice that TWO of his claws are DECLAWED. RIPPED OUT OF HIS PAW. I AM SOBBING WANTING TO PUKE. IT WAS A COMPLIMENTARY ADD ON THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE INDULGED IN. I HAVE CUT HIS NAILS MYSELF FOR YEARS THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. HE HAS THE FATTEST AND EASIEST NAILS TO CUT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW THIS HAPPENED. I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO CUT THOSE NAILS OF HIS ANYMORE BECAUSE OF THIS DISGUSTING UNPROFESSIONAL ESTABLISHMENT. PLEASE READ THE OTHER REVIEWS AND BEWARE. HIS PAW WAS OBVIOUSLY CLEANED UP TO BE HIDDEN FROM ME. I ASKED FOR A TRIM BUT HIS PAWS WERE NEVER TRIMMED NOW I KNOW WHY. It is my damn fault for trusting such a shady business. I should’ve known. I should’ve trusted the other reviews. I should have took more notice in how sleepy my boy was after the grooming. I was juggling work and school. I am disgusted.

Alyssa the vet tech did a fantastic job taking care of my girlfriend’s kitten. She was attentive and walked us through every step of the process, making sure we were aware of costs ahead of time. Every member of the staff treated us with kindness and we will definitely continue to go here!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE ABUSIVE GROOMER. RIPPED OUT MY CATS NAILS. I wish I could give 0 stars. I brought my cat last year for a grooming because olive oil was spilled on him, they did a horrible job and gave him back to me an OILY mess, still wet. I decided to give it another try this year for another grooming(bath, a teeth brushing, and nail trimming that was included). After the grooming my cat was visibly stressed out which I downplayed to because he had just been groomed. His breath started to stink the day after, and so did his paws and fur. I brought him into my regular vet and they said his gums were inflamed, although they did say it would not correlate to the grooming. Understandable. But still weird that he developed severe inflammation after the grooming? He smelled so bad that I didn't go near him for awhile, and he's a fluffy cat so I never noticed his nails, but I went to give him a nail trimming (2 weeks since the grooming), I notice that TWO of his claws are DECLAWED. RIPPED OUT OF HIS PAW. I AM SOBBING WANTING TO PUKE. IT WAS A COMPLIMENTARY ADD ON THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE INDULGED IN. I HAVE CUT HIS NAILS MYSELF FOR YEARS THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I love the vets here. I've been bringing pets here for 16 years and have always felt like my pets are care for. I think the strengths of this animal hospital is general preventative care like annual check-ups. They make referrals if they feel like your pet would benefit from more specialized care but my pets have been healthy and happy coming here. I have never had a pet boarded here so I don't know about that. Overall, it's a really nice vet that is always clean and has really nice staff & vets.

I have to speak for my dog since she has no voice. Chanel a 2.5lb yorkie got dropped off first thing in the morning 7:30 AM. for a grooming appointment. We asked what time would she be ready? the receptionist said it up to the groomer?( In my mind set would be first come first served? ) Hours went by Chanel in a kennel all this time I get a call at 2PM saying they cut my dog! I was told that she was upset my dog is loving and sweet little yorkie ! Upon arriving for her to be picked up. Front desk was a horror telling me that my Chanel was moving around? and she got cut? I then made her aware of all the hours that had gone by! Her response was that I could groom her myself! What type of MadHouse are you running there! My poor dog has trauma and its not like it was her first time there. I know for a Fact that she will no longer be going to your establishment. Also let me add in that my dog was thirsty and hungry as soon we got home she ran to her bowl to eat and drink. Making me fearful of what my dog went through, Super disappointed and the Unprofessional staff. Beware for our Furry friends who don't have a voice to defend themselves.

I took Panda in today for itchy paws. My vet tech was awesome! I called yesterday to schedule an appointment and they were able to fit me in the next day. Has been going here since Panda was a puppy and I’m happy with the care ❤️?

I have a very nervous/timid 9 month old Golden - and Dr. Laetitia Henry was so good with him - got on the floor and gave him time to get comfortable before examining/administering his shots. The techs have also been great at each visit.
