This was a really amazing experience, really enjoyed our time here. Obviously kid friendly but little details like the hand rail down low were nice touches. The taxidermy and skeletons were so neat, the Tesla coils were pretty dope to see and the robot and dinos were spectacular. All my littles had fun but I honestly wish I could just come here and hang out and read it all, there's so much to see and definitely worth a full day if you have the capacity to do it without littles. But great family experience really really had a blast!

Good place for any ages. However with the speed of technology evolving, AI, and everybody having access to the Internet these days, most of the stuff doesn't wow you. I wish I could see more newer technologies and recent scientific facts. The investment in the facility and building itself is way more than anything you expect to see there. For instance I prefer to see components of the Starship from SpaceX, like its engine, other than a dummy plastic Apollo cabin. I like to see new inventions like how the process of extracting Hydrogen from the moon's soil looks like etc.

On a different afternoon, we went with my 11-year-old daughter, what she liked most about
Museum is the part of the body
Human.

Hard to believe this is a museum of science, and yet they have sick and neglected animals on display. Their axolotl has tumors, a clubbed foot, and tiny gills - all signs the animal is in poor condition.

For kids so good. Not for adults. It’s quite ordinary science museum. But my kids satisfied this place.

We’ve been there so many times and kids can always find new things that attract their attention. We love to watch Omni theater movies, so informative and educational. We learn a lot about our life, environment around us and the universe. They makes me take a step back from daily life to see the big picture. The imperfections, frustrations, hurdles we face day to day feels so small and unimportant when I see the big things happening in the world/universe in a much bigger time frame. Riverview cafe is a bit pricey but food tastes good. But you can bring your own food and eat there. Parking is a bit expensive and garage can get full on weekends. Recommend taking the T if you have the time.

What a great science museum! You could spend hours here and not be bored. There are tons of sections to explore and plenty of interactive activities. Some of the highlights were a robot dog navigating an obstacle course, massive dinosaur replicas, a playground themed area, and you even het to lie on a bed of nails! This is easily one of the best things to do in Boston!

Awesome experience for adults and kids! I brought my 5 year old daughter and my 14 year old nephew. They had fun! We arrived around 1:30 pm and had just enough time to see everything, a 4D show, and the lightning show before they closed. We did not spend a lot of time in the activities for kids, but only because we wanted to make it to all the wings. The cafe closes before the museum officially closes. There's duck tours outside the museum available.
If you cross the bridge, the green line is right there to get on. We rode it 5 minutes to north station, where we ate at the TD Gardens food court. Also, the parking garage was a convenient spot to park. Everywhere is expensive to park, so it's best to just pay the $30 for all day. They're open till 11 pm.

The museum is fun for all ages and the staff are always helpful. If you get a membership going twice a year justifies it in most cases. There are free demonstrations and shows throughout the day, but also shows and movies that require the purchase of tickets. There are some areas that allow little ones a chance to explore STEM with hands on activities. The cafeteria serves an array of food but also has classic fast food options like personal sized pizzas, burgers and fries, chicken tenders and a wide variety of beverages. The prices aren't far enough from the cost of McDonald's or BK to go those places first but if you want to bring your own lunches you can.

Such a great place to bring the kids! Many activities and very clean! You can find discounted tickets at the public libraries!
Huge plus if you have an EV. I was lucky enough to charge for free (you pay $5 every hour after 30 minutes of idle time at full charge). There's 4 bays for Charge point chargers and 4 other side parking that you can plug into a 110 outlet.
